Oh my gosh! This is almost like Super Mario 64! *Wipes away single tear of joy*

Oh, and The Fabric of Our Lives ad was fantastic as well. (Sarcasm)

Was it just me or did it look very Lego Legends of Zelda?

Looks like the next great installment of the Zelda series will be on the PS3 and possibly the 360! Pretty ironic; I guess since Nintendo's core fans are so short of AAA first or third party games on the Wii to get excited about anymore (thanks to all those Wii Fit and casual sales which have dulled the big N's thinking regarding their core audience) other developers are taking the initiative to do so for them. Problem for Nintendo is, they're doing it on other platforms (I am absolutley amazed after watching this video how Nintendo hasn't yet caught onto 3D Dot Game Heroes and filed some sort of intellectual property infringement case; the chickens alone REALLY took things dangerously close to being more than just an homage to a great series).

This one's definitely on my radar, though, regardless of name or console; it just looks GOOD.

If they're going to homage Zelda, at least get it on a Nintendo console! I'd like a port to WiiWare or if size is a problem, port to a 1/2 price Wii disc game.

I heard that Microsoft might have actually talked to Sony for the PS2, but ended up working with Sega on the Dreamcast. The two corporate cultures might not line up, even though the Playstation division had a massive shakeup.

I wouldn't be sure if either company would agree to the specs of the other one. For example, would Sony make another $500-600 monster again? Would Microsoft agree to another new drive format? Who would be in charge? This would be a huge issue because what if the console is underperforming? Do you use Sony's tactics or do you use Microsoft's? How would the royalties be split up? Would you use Sony's or Microsoft's supply chain (note that this could completely knock out Sony factories from the chain)?

It's not going to happen, that much is obvious. I can still start a discussion on the idea though. That much isn't hurting anyone. ^_^

For all you Xbox 360 admirers out there that didn't get their own console, I recommend a place where you can get it less cheaper than any retailer can offer. Check out bit.ly/1kez2C and get your own!
