So why the change? What is the social significance of the forearm bump? Is it a sign of greater manliness, or are the characters in Army of Two simply trying to fight the spread of deadly germs? Please, contribute your theories in the comments.

I did like the first Army of Two, but it had some problems. I hope this game is way better.

I shit you not, it was that awkward fist bump Michelle Obama gave Barack during his acceptance speech (or whatever the hell that was.) Me and my best friend had a few moves for our greetings and departures and stuff, but when you see the white news lady give a similarly awkward fist bump to the asian news lady, well, it's kinda time to go. I blame you, Michelle. But at least we had a good run with it.

The "bro button" (as I like to call it) from the first Army of Two was the thing that made it more than just another third-person shooter featuring co-op and a cover system. The more they move away from that theme with the sequel the worse the game is going to be. The first game enjoyed very solid sales, I would argue BECAUSE of this feature, not in spite of it, hopefully they haven't listened to the haters and cowards too much on this count.
Adding a Rock-Paper-Scissors move was a pretty good move though, hopefully it's more of an extension of the original and less of a replacement.

Pfffssst...whatever. I like the fist bump. It gives the game character. Which is what the game was about to begin with.
If it gets all serious in terms of story, where does it leave this game? It'll be generic. Even if from a coding standpoint, it's superb.
The people who hated this game were the idiots who didn't bother playing it with a friend. It may not have been a beautiful development process (I've heard from an insider that the creation of this game was a complete "goat-phuck"), but what they came out with, in the end was fun an enjoyable, despite its technical issues (the most notable being that all the guns felt similar, and the suppressors didn't seem to do anything).
