All I can reply to that is:

"If it took more than one shot, you weren't using a Jakobs."

I heard that so many times...

How about they fix the million cheevo bug. I am currently carrying 3 mil and still have yet to get the cheevo, but I even have the challenge associated to the million dollars.

Hopefully this has some good level 50 guns, or this will be pointless.

Dear Gearbox,

Please make the DLC available for the PC. My friends and I want to give you money.

I hope they do, all too many times, the PC version of a multiplatform game misses out on DLC the console versions get. : (

I think when I hit level 50 (if it actually gives me the achievement), I'm selling Borderlands. Should be in the next week or so at the rate I'm going. It was fun for a couple weeks, but the thought of running around just to see if I can find a different gun that has slightly better stats than what I have isn't really that attractive to me. The online stuff through Xbox Live was fine and all, but it just doesn't have the same magnetism as MW2's multiplayer will have for me.

Also, why are they putting out Halloween DLC a month late?

it's would've been a little tacky to put it out the week of release. even more so than a month after release

Clearly you never played Diablo...

And just cause it has Zombies doesn't mean it's related to Halloween..

Will it raise the the lvl 50 cap? Any word on that?

Yea that's what i was wondering. if it raises the cap and adds a whole new area i'll probably pick it up for 10 bucs.

But if it's still the exact same level cap just a place to find more loot i probably will pass tillit gets put on sale or a bundle comes out.

they should worry about fixing all the bugs in the disc game first before trying to release DLC

Enemies appearing & disappearing (yet still attacking you) is not a bug! It's a uhh... a special extra difficulty challenge! Yeahhh, that's it!

And seeing your teammates float sideways 4 feet above the ground is uhh.. ermmm.. A tribute to Ghostbusters! "She sleeps above the covers, 4 FEET above her covers!" (considering there's a ton of movie quotes & references, I'd believe it!)

I uh, know I'm a little late with this, but I banged out a review. Sadly, it makes no mention of my mama's girl parts:

Will we have to wait a week for a more "polished DLC experience?" I hope so!

They should be working on PC patch instead of a DLC. PC getting the short stick yet again. I really miss the PC gaming of the 90's when developers actually tried.

i love the game except that i lost my level 24 siren just last night, however i think my friend's co-op character is still alive on my 360, going to have to use it to level up a new character, all of my weapons are gone too : (

any recommendations on an easy place near the beginning to level up a character?

You could join a level 50's game and while he kills and completes quests you could soak up the experience. A friend of mine joined a game awhile ago and got to level 20 in about an hour and a half.

Whoa, $9.99 = 800 points? Maybe I haven't done my homework, But I always thought 80 MS points was a buck. Where the hell are all these extra pennies going !?!

I love love love this game, but damn the 14 hours I put into my character to be destroyed by joining a friends game has forever made me scared to even load it up and play it online. I worry that I'll lose yet ANOTHER character.

That said, I'm a sucker for a fun time and I'll buy this the day of release.

And honestly, I haven't had so much fun in a game by myself and with others in, hell, I don't know how long.

The story blows, big time, but the gameplay is really, really fun. Even with all the faults, especially those that are far from fixed, it is still an awesome game.

I was really hoping for more than a new area and weapons. I'd really like to see a new class, extra storage space, and general bug fixing. I'm afraid that I'll just plow this the new DLC in a night.

My only concern for the DLC is its actual size--Don't get me wrong, I will be purchasing it the second it's released--I simply hope that the size is enough to hold me over. Either way, it looks like it's going to be a nice change of scenery.

I love this game and I hate Gearbox for being a bunch of douche bags about supporting the PC version. Not only have they not patched it yet, they haven't even given a time-line or communicated anything on what the hell is going on. They do have updates on their forums but their updates seem to fall way short of the actual problems themselves. Part of me wants to be happy they even released a PC version but that seems stupid. They released a PC version, they should support the damn thing. There are plenty of other companies who take the time and effort to polish games on each platform and take advantage of what each platform has to offer. I can only hope that the lack of PC DLC information has more to do with distribution details and actually polishing the thing before putting it out there.

If you haven't seen or played this on a PC yet, even running on a last generation graphics card, you should have a look. As much as I bitch about this game I want it to succeed and thrive on PC and it's difficult to see something so close to perfection released in the state it was. Tweaking the INI files for this thing is best thing I did and made the entire experience closer to where it should have been at launch and I'm talking about 5 minutes of simple tweaks, things they should have done if they really gave a damn.

PC versions' free passes have ended. For most, it will not be free on PC anymore or they will delay it until they make a boatload of cash on consoles beforehand.

Whether you agree content should be free on PC or not, it takes time and money to make DLC.
