While Vanguard has an early attempt at IR controls for the Wii - it was a fun game, hard to go back to now after later efforts on the system. I enjoyed it.

Heroes 2, I have on Wii and PSP - have played PSP version FAR more than the Wii version, simply because it is portable and a great FPS. On the Wii I thought H2 was an excellent effort with really great MP when it launched - it introduced really good controls to the Wii for FPS, I admit to disabling motion controls on that title. It controlled better than MP3 IMO.

I've also been pining for some MoH news the past year or so, so this is good news to me. What I'd really like to see is a remake of Frontline, or bring Heroes to Wii. Of course I will buy anything new for Wii or PSP re: MoH.

Heroes 2 was pretty good for a WEE game. I wish there were more maps in multiplayer and less waggle.

MOH: Airborne has some of the absolute best surround sound of any game I've played. Story-wise it slowly progressed towards Castle Wolfenstein near the end but the cover mechanics in the game were fantastic. I really don't understand why this game didn't fare better except that it must be due to WW2 fatigue at the time.

I just moved my entertainment center to another room in my house and played some of the game to tweak and test the surround sound setup. I moved into cover somewhere and then closed my eyes and listened to the sounds going on in the game. If there is any other game on the market that has paid such attention to detail, clarity, spacial/directional depth and overall quality, please someone tell me what that game is. COD has good sound but nowhere near the quality of MOH:A. And as much as I love the hefty sound of gunfire in RB6, it looses some clarity when I turn the sound up and doesn't have as much environmental sound going on.

I miss the old games like Medal of Honor where it was basically YOU against the entire German army, not squad-based.

They had espionage missions, stealth missions, silenced pistols, stuff like that. I think if they went that way again it might give them an edge on Call of Duty.

Go more "Inglorious Basterds" (albeit with less talking and foot fetish scenes) than "Blackhawk Down".

Give me a MoH with proper multiplayer. Upgrades, leaderboards, voice chat (with a headset), incentive to finish single player campaign, and no friend codes. Basically, take pieces of other FPS on Wii and put them in one game. In others words, not a striped down version of a PS360 FPS. Give me that and it's a day one purchase. Figure out the headset or offer a demo(!) and I'll preorder.
