Rumor: Japanese Final Fantasy XIII to include Final Fantasy XIV content

Beyond the term "campaign code," we aren't actually sure what the content is. Is it a pre-release demo of the MMO? A beta? An exclusive quest to be downloaded in the final game? It isn't clear. But it's definitely some kind of Final Fantasy XIV content, and it's sure to entice those three guys in Japan who were going to buy XIV but not XIII.

I'm playing X, VII, and IV. I'd like to get ahold of VIII, but someone *cough* won't release it to the PS Store.
And yeah. Apart from Mass Effect 2, FFXIII is my most anticipated new game for next year.

I found an almost brand new copy of FF VIII at a locally owned video game store for $20. Try to look around for small shops like that.

Well, my local shop had one that I spotted when I was trading in some things, but they were closing as I finished, so I planned to come back the next day. When I did, it was gone...and they haven't got a copy since.

FFVIII-IX, Anthology, Origins, Chronicles, and Chrono Cross are still widely available in new condition. Amazon has VIII for $15 US, $5 more than the digital download would be.

i doubt that US FFXIII would come with any FFXIV beta because it wont be out untel june and even if it's out on march it still be late because FFXIV gose online jan or feb so yeah it be late by then.

I hope they do this in the US (Well ....Canada) I'd love to get more info on FFXIV, there are a lot of people looking forward to another FF mmo. But, for now ...gimme FFXIII!

Awesomeness. Hopefully the announcement that they have soon will be a Solid Set-In-Stone release date for Final Fantasy XIII to (Refer to another FInal Fantasy XIII post here on Joystic)
I'm getting both games but if preordering (at least for JP people in this reguards) gets extra content i hope they do something simular for the NA people who preordered XIII. Looking forward to finding out what this is tbh.

it's a beta demo to play FFXIV to try it out before it gose online.
it's coming with FFXIII jp and am glad i already imported!
