2BeeGames begins voting for its 2nd Indie Game Competition

The second Indie Game Competition from 2BeeGames has finally entered the public voting stage. Ten finalists (listed after the break) are eligible for a $10,000 prize and a publishing contract with Zoo Games. Last year, the first and second place winners (Auditorium and Storm, respectively) received deals to port their games onto XBLA, PSN, Wii and iPhone.

All ten finalist games will be playable at the NY Gaming Meetup tonight or online at the 2BeeGames website. It's not often that the general public can control which games get published, so you may want to take advantage of this rare opportunity.

The ten finalists are:

Bullets of a Revolver – submitted by Diefox
Climb to the Top of the Castle – submitted by TwO Bros. Games
Cavemen Vs. Aliens – submitted by John Sear
Cochon's Pursuit – submitted by Edouard Mercure
Daytraders of the Dead – submitted by Mat Groves/ John Denton
DriftMoon – submitted by Ville Mönkkönen
Kablooey! – submitted by Vertigo Games
Tower of Heaven – submitted by Askiisoft
Turba – submitted by Binary Takeover
Vector Conflict: The Siege – submitted by Dig Your Own Grave Games

Considering I never heard of Auditorium or Storm I really don't care who they promote this year. Call me when it's finished and getting rave reviews.

As for Storm, we saw what we liked in the very early prototype (that took 2 weeks).
We're completely redoing the game with the developer on board as a consultant.
