We picture the villa as a fully realized (and mid-1400s-styled) version of GTAIV's many save houses, but, ya know, with assassin stuff instead of gangster stuff. But then again, being an assassin is pretty gangster. Uh oh, this is way too confusing – we'll have to get back to you after Assassin's Creed 2 comes out next week.

I'm kind of worried about this game now. When they mentioned all the problems they were fixing from AC1 I was happy.
But at PAX they showed off a GIGANTIC weapon select menu... and now they're going on about all of these little add-on features that sound just like flag collecting in terms of fun.
We'll see in a week or two...

Eh, maybe the villa doesn't interest you, but I like the sound of it. I enjoy having an evolving visual evaluation of my progress in a game, and if it brings in finances so I'm not constantly pickpocketing people, all the better. If you mean actual pointless garbage shoe-horned in for no reason other than presenting a difficult achievement/trophy, there are 100 feathers scattered throughout the game that fulfill that role. Those I wouldn't bother with, heh.

Really looking forward to this, I really liked AC1. AC seems to get a lot of hate, which I never understood. You guys know you didn't have to collect the flags, right?

does anyone else ever notice that that one screenwriter (Corey May) always looks like he was the only one they didn't tell that they were gonna do interviews that day?

question: will there be an Italian language option w/ subtitles? would definitely help with the authenticity and immersion IMO.
