According to a post on GTA4.net, a new update for the Games for Windows version of Grand Theft Auto IV has added Achievements from the Xbox DLC, The Lost and Damned. If the details of the update are accurate -- and users on the GFW forums indicate they are -- it looks like the DLC's long touted Xbox 360 exclusivity may be drawing to a close. Of course, as Games for Windows is also a Microsoft platform, it doesn't necessarily mean that PS3 owners will be joining in anytime soon.
We've contacted Microsoft for clarification on the update and will update this post when we receive new information.

I hope this is true :-) If it is indeed true, then I'll just sell my PS3 version and get it for the PC. Unless ofcourse, it comes to the PS3, but I don't really care either way.

What's this "we" shit? Do you have a mouse in your pocket?
Never minding the fact GFW is synonymous with Microsoft, Microsoft loaned Rockstar $50 million to make this DLC happen -- it will never see the light of day on PS3.

Makes you play the game in different ways to get the different achieves (e.g. Fallout 3), gives you a real sense of completion in some shorter games (Uncharted), on the other hand I did sometimes find myself focusing on getting cheevos instead of just having fun.

the rest of the internet bows down to your game playing greatness and pays homage to you, mostly in the form of money and attention. At least that's how it's worked out for me.

Sweet. I was going to get GTA IV PC (see wut I did thar?) anyway, but if the two DLCs are on their way to PC, then I'm definitely buying a copy. It's only $16 on Amazon.

Wait... I thought this WAS timed DLC. Huh, oh well. I was kind expecting it, but still, great news. Skydiving is more fun with a mouse anyway.... instead of a parachute.

Since you mentioned wanting Gears 2 on PC I checked out Wikipedia and the first game was ported over roughly 1 year after the game first released. Gears 2 released the 9th of November last year. I think if they were porting it they would of said it a long time ago. Plus I think Epic said they weren't interested due to the piracy level of Gears 1 and also the reviews came out worse for the PC version.
As for the article, I'd love to play GTA 4 PC style, but my poor CPU would cry if I even tried.

Ability to edit comments really would be nice....
I'd like if the PC could get both episodes in the pack like the 360 did instead of digitally.
Also, I hear from hardocp.com that Modern Warfare 2 is $50 at Frys Electronics, going there to check it out. Probably sold out by now. ; )
