Zeebo, the 3G console available in countries like Brazil, Russia and China, reminds us that right after food, water and shelter, access to Resident Evil 4 should be a top priority for all developing nations. It was revealed yesterday that Capcom will use the MascotCapsule eruption engine to port the well-received mobile version of RE 4 to the platform.
You know, it's funny, we know Resident Evil 4 was a classic, but we never expected it to become the new Tetris -- ported to every system imaginable. Which reminds us: Shinji Mikami, be forewarned: You're probably going to have to grow a beard.

I think Doom has been ported to an equally insane amount of consoles.

Yeah i didn't think that Brazil was that bad off its actually getting pretty good now.
I don't think anyone struggles for at least the basics in Brazil.
Those arrogant YANKS!
Resident Evil 4 is a popular game and that Zeebo thing was panned by reviewers in Brazil i think.

I think you all missed it. It wasn't a dig at ANY group of peoples, it was merely a comment saying the game is obviously that good....since it's come to many, many more plats than initally planned for.
At least I read no racial implications into the comment at all.
Maybe you all are racist! :P

There's nothing really wrong with the comment. He called Brazil a developing nation...which it is. There are a lot of "regular" people there who live a relatively comfortable lifestyle, but the nation also has it's fair share of problems like crushing poverty, corruption, areas of general lawlessness, etc.

RE4 is such an awesome game, it should be like Pac Man should be - standard issue to every human born and capable of being played on items such as a watch or scientific calculator.
So this is good news, assuming it controls great, or at least pretty good and has the full quest.

PSP version WITH the ability to save/load anywhere (which should be in any and every handheld game) please. That might get me to actually play it, except I'm not sure I'd spend money on the game twice...already owning the Wii version, just not having gotten very far into it.

my wife got the other RE game on her iTouch, she liked it quite well, I played it and thought it wasn't half bad, got me kinda hoping maybe a beefed up version would be out on PSN to play on PSP at some point... There's an adjustment period in the control department, no doubt.
