The release of this game is timed so closely with Remembrance Day in Canada that other comedy articles like this were inevitable:

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHA.

The homesick sequence: you stare into the desert and then YOU DIE.
I haven't laughed so hard.

Yes, lets also punish those devs by not buying the game they poured their hearts, souls, and most semblances of a life into during the crunch periods because the head of the PUBLISHER is a douchebag. Lets punish the kids because the parent is an asshole, is that what Im hearing? Developers are small and need the publisher to continue making games because the independent studio/publisher is the exception rather than the rule. Yes Kotick is a douchbag, but dont punish Infinity Ward for always delivering a stellar title just because their financier has is head up his ass. The devs are only doing what they are told and as long as the publisher holds the rights to these IPs the dev's hands are tied.

ARMA II is more realistic than any CoD to date, save for the fact it takes place in a fictionally-named real-life location.

The PC version:

- Only 1 resolution, with a fixed fps, because higher resolutions or higher framerates can give you an advantage and the game isn't balanced for that.
- Only 1 type of keyboard/mouse combination allowed, because having extra buttons on your keyboard/mouse makes the game unbalanced
- Only 56k dial-up allowed, because having a lower ping might give you an advantage that unbalances the game

Etc, etc, etc

I remember playing CnC Red Alert on a "56k" connection (More like 28k). It was fun that we were able to play over the internet.

At first I thought you were giving more examples of how MW2 is crippled on PC.

lol, that was awesome and very true to life. I especially loved that the single player campaign clocks in at 17,250 hours.

I haven't played Modern Warfare 2 so I cannot fairly comment on it, but I felt that the first game had little artistic value - it took a few interesting risks (the civilian-killing in the first mission, the AC-130 mission) but ultimately ignored them in the face of standard mow-em-down action and an West Saves the World storyline.

Also, I am not a shower.

I like the video but I can't help but think it's some kind of covert advertising. They used real gameplay footage (the cell phone scene), real corporate logos and prominently displayed Xbox consoles.

It kind of felt like the tongue-in-cheek product placement you see in shows like 30 Rock.

Not that there's anything wrong with that...or is there?
