Sega: Aliens vs. Predator not releasing in Germany

AvP is expected to receive an "18 rating" (or the equivalent) in territories outside of Germany and an M rating in the US. When asked about the status of the title in Australia, Sega told us that there was no word yet from the region. It would certainly be interesting if the German market was ruled out due to the game's violence (and the threat of not receiving a rating by USK, the German ratings board), but Australia and its similarly stringent board prove more accepting of the content. We'll continue to follow up with the publisher.

On the other hand, it would give me the opportunity to use it every time anything happens in the game.

Nice one, Sega. I really hope more publishers go that way. Maybe then, someday, the USK might understand that we need an "M" rating, that allows us, the grownups, to play whatever game we'd like to play.

Finally. This is how it should work. Now German gamers don't have to worry about paying twice the price for half the content, because whatever version they buy now will be an import and thus uncut.
Now all MS has to do, is unlock the DLC for German IPs and everybody can be happy.
