Handhelds have a penchant for donning new colors, and the PSP Go is likely to be no different. A Destructoid reader was invited to take a survey conducted by UK marketing firm Research Now. The survey pictured a number of colors, including the already-available Piano Black and Pearl White systems. Some of the colors catch our eye, like Bright Red and Blue -- but colors like Lemon and Coral look a bit too much like urine and vomit, respectively.
Of course, new colors don't really matter without the appropriate software. We wonder if anything will ever be able to dethrone the best PSP bundle ever.

I do have a 3000, it's just the PSP Go is a more expensive stripped down version of the 3000, and pretty colors don't compensate for that.

stripped down? only if you have an ASSLOAD of UMDs or buy used games.....I care for neither....and the smaller form factor along with the bluetooth and built in storage makes it worth it to me....

Sure, technically it doesn't have a HDD... but we're just splitting hairs here, Darth... it has an effective HDD. That's what matters.
We wouldn't be all up in arms if he said "16 gigs of storage" instead of Hard drive.

PSP go could be far more greater if they still give that option for users to have the UMD still intact not like this one wherein the only option for us is to don't have any UMD. Also, instead of thinking of other things to improve PSP GO (remodding features, redesign, external website to download games) they invest their time on guess what? VOILA! color-combinations! :D , I wouldn't say its not nice, but don't you think this should be the last "improvement" on their things-to-do list?

ohh ! Coral. But what I really want is a nice lavender. Something to spruce up the place. This black will never do.

No matter what colors they come up with, I'm getting the Assassin's Creed PSP 3000 bundle, instead of a GO.

You see what they're doing? They're getting your attention by coming out with these bright new colors to catch your eye at retail locations. This of course draws you in so you can PSPGO buy a 3000.

You know, is this theory crazy?
Sony is obviously planning the PSP2. And a selling point would be BC, but the UMD drive would be expensive. By pushing people to convert to DD titles now, they'll be ready for PSP2, as well as being able to play said titles on the PSP2.

I actually like the Lilac one, but I already have mine. Even if I were in the market, it would be a waste of my money to buy the Lilac bundle, 'cause F*** a Hanna Montana.

isn't this sony handheld failing real bad . so the idea here is that people will buy it due to the new shine colors they will offer. do they really think this will work. how about they stop the bullshit & just make this one work the way they made out to be in the board room at sony hope fully before they state the are working on psp go 2.
i really do miss the days when thier was only atari & coleco vision .

It's almost shameful that the first PSP model outside of the Japan/Korea/Asia regions that may get different colors would be the Go. Maybe if they could bring some colors for the 3000 model over...

The device sure looks slick but I have a real hard time justifying the purcahse when I can shell out another 50 bucks for a 120GB PS3... Regardless of not being able to play UMD's or the fact that the Minis programm has everything priced @ milking status - you just cant ignore the fact that the PSPgo is Over Priced... Maybe I'll get one in a few years after they drop the price once or twice - hey maybe by than I'll be bored of my PSP-3000...
