Everyone rush! Multiplayer returns to PS3 Modern Warfare 2 [update]

See, and we [mostly] were mature enough not to gloat about it, I barely even remember this incident happening on Xbox Live.

This disastrous launch snafu, most ps3 owners are not going to ever forget.

They need to fix the actual matchmaking because there is no reason for me to always get paired against people that are level 25 and up when I'm only at level 10. The teams are also usually unbalanced and I'm talking about playing the game mode with random teams and no parties allowed.

This game is really pissing me off and I remember why I despise COD multiplayer. It's to twitchy, run and gun and arcadey. The hit boxes are also completely messed up from my experiences. I'll probably finish the campaign, fiddle with the multiplayer until assassins creed releases and go trade it in or something.

If you like the multiplayer then more power to you for sure but for me it doesn't cut it at all. Yeah before anyone says I do suck at the game but it's still the most frustrating game I've ever played online. Pairing me up with played over 20 levels higher that have superior weapons and skill doesn't help things either. I think I'm going to go back to KZ2 & Uncharted 2 MP after I beat MW2 a few times.

don't remind me about the Gears 2 networking issue.....used a 48-hour code to see if it was still jacked up and damn sure is....12 minutes is what it took for me to get in a game....

12am? Pfft, me and a friend were playing online till 5am on launch night.

When PSN is anywhere near the level of quality that Live usually has, then you can throw your cheap jabs out there cause they'll actually have some weight behind them.

WTF is 12 in the morning? 12:00 is either midnight or noon. Morning is around 6am, which is in between the two...

...yeah I just tried playing it and I get the same rubbish, why didn't infinity ward make sure it'd work? This is really frustrating.

Doesn't bother me. The multiplayer sucks because 3 bullets kill people and it takes no skill.

You guys know there is a way to use the party system on PS3 right? When someone sends you the invite you have to sign out of PS network, sign back in then read the message and hit join. It has worked every time for our clan.

A workaround for those having PS3 Party Issues:

Simply delete the friend in question from your list and re-add them. It sounds ridiculous, but it seems to have solved any party issues we once had (Party no longer available, Not showing online etc).

Sorry if its already been posted but its worked on a few of my friends so far. If you get the latest patch and it causes issues, delete em again and repeat.

it's a great game, but why in the world did they take the grenade/car explosion sound effects from World at War? They sound pathetic compared to CoD4.

i dont no why but i just can play at 3 am, can anyone explain me why?
