I think they said no more actual updates in 2009 after 3.00 (3.01 was just a bug fix. so that doesn't count)

From the reviews and everything about the game yes it is worth $15. Personally, I won't pay that much for it but I'll pick it up for $10.

I more or less "endured" Braid where others "enjoyed" it. Your mileage may vary somewhere inbetween.

I LOVED Braid, but it depends on how diverse your idea of entertaining games is. It can and will hurt your brain at least a few times, and just may frustrate you. For the most part, the game involves getting to a tricky screen, racking your brain until you finally get that "OOOOOOHHHHHH!!!" moment, which is half of what the game is about. It's incredibly satisfying to finish the puzzles without help.

The graphics, music, presentation, and diverse platformer/puzzler gameplay is something that offers an experience that you can't get from any other game.

I can't guarantee you'll love it as much as I did though. If you aren't good with puzzles, it might frustrate you too much. If you require action in your video games, it may not be for you, as the enemies are really only there for the puzzles' sake. I picked it upon Steam for $5, but having played it finally, I can say that it would have been worth every penny if I held out for the $15 PSN version.

I played it on Steam and got it for $5, but to me it felt a lot like Portal. Fun, innovative, and utterly short. Sounds like $5-$10 to me, but if you are starved for something good $15 go for it

If you like Demon's Souls, you'll like Braid...no, their styles aren't similar, but they both involve a lot of trial-and-error, followed by some facepalms and later a few "WHAT THE FUCK"s.

anybody get Sigma 2? Is it as good as Sigma? I'm playing Sigma for the first time right now, and I gotta say, the first level was very off-putting... but every level after that has made me love the game more and more. It might be my favorite 3rd person hack n slash style action game yet. Way more fun than I had with Devil May Cry.

Well IMO Ninja Gaiden 1 is better than NG2. That's not to say NG2 isn't fun as well, but it's more action oriented.

Mr. Sliwinski,
I take severe offense to some of the content contained within your post. It is highly offensive to even the most casual onlooker. Perhaps many of you were distracted by the burlesque women, but I sir, was not. You should be ashamed that you engage in this type of extremeist journalism. I hope you take the weeked to evaluate your priorities as a journalist and recommit yourself to the high ethical standards that your profession used to to demand, but has not discarded for better ratings and hits.

The Hot Pockets theme cannot ever be topped, even by some burlesque tart. We all know this. As a matter of fact, the Hot Pockets theme will not ever be topped on any console ever, unless of the course the creator makes a theme, but even then the theme will have to be Hot Pockets.

Once you know that Hot Pockets is the be all end all of your existence the world falls into place. You will know your place in the universe.

You will be enlightened.
