Between Borderlands and Torchlight it's been a pretty good year for loot-whores.

Agreed about Borderlands, but haven't played Torchlight. Would love to see Torchlight on the 360 or PS3.

Point and click arpg's and consoles don't mix well.

You could always just check out the demo. Requirements aren't high at all.

It's probably a good thing that this is download only. If it was retail I think it'd be buried under the avalanche of 2010 titles.

The editor was released on Tuesday. Here's the link to the official forum post, which links to the download on Filefront. It's mirrored at several other download sites too.

Wait, you said in this article that the tools will soon be released, but then link to the article which says they already had been released...sorry, that wording really confused me.

I'll make sure to edit that. I was going off this post http://www.torchlightgame.com/gamenews/2009/10/22/level-editor-a-free-separate-download/ which cites the download will be available at a later date.

Thanks.

Its on Steam, too.

Torchlight is one of the best values of the season. A gem for PC gamers.

The game is worth every penny and more. There's really no reason to hold out on the purchase, though.

I'd buy it from Steam right now, but I'm just busy with too many other games, so I'll probably just pick up the boxed version next year sometime.

Love the game. I wouldn't mind buying the retail version as well if it came with some cool extras like a bestiary or a Baldur's Gate / Neverwinter Nights size 800 million page companion/instruction booklet.

if you're waiting for a particular game to come out on the Mac...may I suggest you grow a pair and buy a PC...give me a break...Mac is NOT for gaming and never will be so time to LET THATONE DIE!
