I never thought I'd say something like this but I think The Bangles is the best song this week.

*barf*

P.S. I'd hit that like an Egyptian.

Good luck on your trip back to the 80s.

Meaning, who knows what they look like these days?

That doesn't make either band good. Gotta pass this week. The Brutal pack, and the latest Foo Fighters trump this week's selection.

If only they'd release Answer That and Stay Fashionable, Very Proud of Ya, or Shut Your Mouth and Open Your Eyes, it'd make these band games much more appealing. Same thing for old No Doubt (shit used to have HORNS), and Green Day.

Look on the bright side, one less thing to tug at your wallet strings this week. And there's probably a ton of great music already in the store you could catch up on. I know I could...

Even Sing the Sorrow wasn't that bad, in my opinion, though it was probably too drastic a departure from preceding material. Everything after that, though? Holy shit it's awful.

If we are going into the emo-esque faux punk rock, at least put out "The Black Parade" by My Chemical Romance. Granted I do not advocate them as a band save for a few songs, but this one at least has a bit of a Queen-inspired solo in the middle that surprised me when I first heard it. Feel free to bash my suggestion...

AFI was good at one point in their career, My Chemical Romance never was. That's one big difference. AFI used to actually play punk rock and hardcore.

I was merely stating that if they are going to go into the realm of whiny emo garbage, I prefer one type over another if given a choice I'd opt for "none of the above". I know AFI used to be punk, but not for over a decade, and I didnt care for them then either. I would opt for some more Bad Religion, early Pennywise, Black Flag, Circle Jerks, or Ramones. CRAP! I promised myself i wouldnt make a list...

No to the Ramones, no to Bad Religion, and no to Pennywise. I see there's little hope for you. I was talking about hardcore, which is different from punk rock. Try Minor Thread, Fat Sally, 88 Fingers Louie, Funeral Oration, and Gorilla Biscuits, and call me in the morning.

I would have preferred the Bangles being the larger release pack over AFI. The GF would be happy to sing "Hazy Shade of Winter", "Manic Monday", "If She Knew Want She Wants", and "In Your Room".

More importantly, does this mean they'll be releasing Lego Rock Band songs individually? In that case, I won't bother trying to find a new copy cheap just to import.

But you must admit their bass sounds a lot better now. Pre-black sails they were still doing the Seinfeld bass settings. The verses to totalimmortal reminded me so much of Seinfeld the song became -_-

Still morr songs to select from compared to Guitar Hero this week, amirite? I just hit my 250th download song last week. I'm glad my wallet can take a breather. Or I guess I could catch up on past songs. I still have some points left

I'll take whatever AFI I can get. Though Very Proud of you may even be a bit far back. I think Black Sails would be a better fit for Rock Band. I also think the song choices from AFI this week are more to under cut Guitar Hero 5 than they are smart choices.
