Rumor: Best Buy's 2009 Black Friday deals

According to Gear Live, Best Buy's Black Friday 2009 ad circular has been leaked, and all the deals have been revealed. Gamers have quite a bit to look forward to, specifically some decent hardware bundles and heavily discounted games. The console deals include a PS3 with Ratchet & Clank Future: A Crack in Time and LittleBigPlanet Game of the Year Edition for $299, as well as a 120GB Xbox 360 Elite bundle with four (thus far unidentified) games for $299. Also up for grabs will be Brain Age or Mario DSi bundles for $169.99 with a free $20 gift card.

Several recent Xbox 360 and PS3 releases will be on sale for $34.99, including Brütal Legend, Left 4 Dead 2, Dragon Age. Many older titles will be $20 or less. Meanwhile, several Wii titles will be reduced to $14.99, while certain DS titles will drop to $9.99 or less. Hit the source link for the full (and still rumored) set of deals. Update: Best Buy has responded to Joystiq about the ad, saying, "As a matter of company policy, Best Buy does not comment on rumor and speculation and so we are unable to confirm if our Black Friday insert has leaked."

im in the market for a new 360 w/ a bigger hdd and hdmi right now. i was ginna hold out for a natal bundle but if theres a good enuff deal BFriday i might have to jump the gun early and pick one up. been eyeing that MW2 bundle but i doubt theres gonna be any deals including that sku

Not a whole lot that I want that I don't already have. Probably look at Left 4 Dead 2, but the more interesting thing is that Sony S360...even though it's not that insane of a price for a BD player.

Its not really "rumor or speculation." Either someone is committing fraud and deceit using your brand or they are not. Seems like Best Buy would actually give a shit about their brand reputation and the possible co-opting of it. Idiots.

I haven't dealt with BestBuy on a Black Tuesday before. Do they essentially get a handful of games at the sale price, or can I go in Friday night and get Left 4 Dead 2 for $35?

I'm going to guess that the quantity for highly-coveted items is limited. that's after all the purpose of black friday...to get people to come out and kick off Xmas shopping season. Shouldn't be an issue if you get there at 5 a.m.

They know that people don't like leaving the stores like empty-handed losers, and will usually try to at least grab something even if they didn't really want it.

Really? This is it? Best Buy could have done better than this. It looks like Target is the only one this year with the true Doorbuster. 32 Inch Westinghouse HDTV for $246. I'd rather have a Westinghouse for 50 bucks cheaper than a crappy dynex.

If they have a Black Friday discount for DJ Hero, I'm totally jumping in to get one, tramplings or early mornings be damned.

I can't possibly be the only one who is completely uninterested at the prospect of getting up early and nearly getting trampled by a bunch of assholes just to save $10-20 on things I shouldn't be buying anyway.

I do want Left4dead 2 (it's on my list of non-high priority games to play), but yeah, getting up that early, I don't know if it's worth it.

... If I buy a game at full price the day before, can I "exchange" it on Black Friday for the sale price when they're not busy?

Black Friday "ends" before 3:00 PM at most places.

I'm so, soooo glad I no longer work retail. I remember several years ago people would demand us (best buy) to price match other ads, most places (maybe not Wal-Mart?) do NOT price match ads because Black Friday only lasts a few hours...so of course people would go insane because you wouldn't do it.

Customers tend to be asshats as well....I always said if a customer storms out angry they were only doing me a favor.

I won't be going out Black Friday, I may shop on Amazon though...maybe.

AT GAMESTOP......all you need to do is print the ad of their website in trade in offers walk in the store with two games that is off a specific list ,trade those in and only pay 20 bucks for that or Assasins Creed 2 or ODST

actually left 4 dead 2 would only be 15 dollars because if you preorder they take 5 dollars off... :)
