One Christmas the only thing I asked for was Banjo:Tooie. I got it, and then my sisters and brother played it with me until four in the morning. Beat the game in one day. BEST. EVER.

well i remember around Christmas my dad bough us a n64 and me him and my younger sister would play mario kart. I would remember both of them trying to move there controllers to the left and the right trying to avoid to crash as if the controller could sense it. And then the Wii came out but i asked my dad for a ps3. But he passed away so i never got to show him High Velocity Bowling on the ps3 since he liked to bowl. And my mom says he would have had so much fun had he got the chance to play.

Playing Gran Turismo at xmas time with my 80 year old grandma who
never had a drivers license in her lifetime. Hilarious watching her
get excited because she was finally "behind the wheel"

Many, many years ago, my father and three uncles all sat down to their first 3 dimensional video game together. As reticles drifted skyward, the aunts in behind questioning what they were seeing on the television screen, children rejoiced. Truly, family time with GoldenEye 64 was one of the most memorable christmas videogame moment for me.

Besides the kids, my family doesn't play video games. I did get my dad to try Wii bowling and he liked that. Sometimes my brother-in-law will play a sports game.

The past two years its all been about the wii bowling tournaments. Although last year I garnered some interest in the single player bioshock. I received a lot of, "wow, I didn't know games could do that" This year I figure it'll all be about Mario and MW2, and some sports resort.

When we got SEGA Rally and Virtua Fighter 2 on Christmas Eve, we played all night 'til Christmas morning. VF2 Tournaments and split-screen SEGA Rally was the sh*t.

The first year I got the Wii, I brought it over to my folks' place and my dad and I got shitfaced and played Wii bowling until like 1am. There was a lot of yelling at the TV.

And yes we used the wrist straps.

A long time ago, before the days of the xbox or ps3, I had a badass nintendo 64. I remember one thanksgiving, when I was just a bother in the kitchen, I got kicked out into the living room, and my brother and I played Ocarina of Time together. For some reason, having all the voices of family and the general atmosphere make fighting those three ghosts in the forest temple so much more memorable... Of course, after that, we actually found multiplayer bliss the likes of Wrestlemania 2000 and Mario Kart 64. No other holiday was as memorable as that one. I always associate Zelda with thanksgiving now, because of it.

I remember when I was about 14 years old we went to my cousin's for Thanksgiving. I came from a humble background and wasn't able to afford much in the "electronic gaming department". I knew he was a gamer and I ate up whatever I could get my hands on, so I went down to their basement to see what my cousin, who was about the same age as myself, was playing. Not only did he have a supernintendo (which I also had... after earning the money myself to buy when I was 12), but I discovered he also had a Sega Genesis, the new N64 and was currently playing Crazy Taxi on his brand new Sega Dreamcast which his Mom just purchased for him. I sat there with my mouth open and he looked at me and while smirking said, "Jealous much?". It's almost 20 years later now and at least I can say I'm about 200 pounds lighter than he is, have a much better job due to good work ethic (he's a 32 year old Pizza Delivery guy... not that there's anything wrong with that.), live comfortably, beautiful wife and 2 little beautiful girls. I also own a PS3, PSP, DS and Wii... but is it sad to say that I still wish I was spoiled like that when I was younger? ;-)

Without fail, every holiday party has have a dosage of about 4-5 hours of Rockband/Guitar Hero... then to top off the evening an epic adventure of Marvel Ultimate Alliance 1 as 'Bruisers'. This year its going to be Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2; we'll see what new combination will be awesome then.

I camped out the entire night outside of a Circuit City with a few friends to get a Wii... for my parents! They had a ton of fun with Wii bowling, to the point where my dad mastered 'the move' to get a strike every time.

I remember every Christmas Eve playing Madden football for that year with my uncles. We'd have a 4-player tournament, and we'd get serious. I remember when we started with Madden on Sega Genesis, then we stopped around Madden 64 for Nintendo 64. Man, those were the days!

When the original PS came out I remember walking in on my parents at like age ten and they had already pulled out the Play Station and were playing ESPN XTREME GAMES. Hahahaha later on in my life I brought it up to my parents and was told how my mom had become absolutely addicted to Extreme games and had been playing it for a month before christmas every night after my sister and I went to bed. My mom was also the one who never thought we needed a video game system. Three years ago I bought my mom a PSone and extreme games 1&2 Which we play every Christmas eve and my mom played on a regular basis for years. Now she is kickass at some Wii bowling.

2 years ago, we got the kids and myself a Wii and let them open that early in the morning and then they played video games for a couple hours and most of the adults went back to bed as you know it was like 0400 or 0500 as the kids are always up super early or never went to bed ? on Christmas Eve.

This year, my PS3 will be under the tree.. I cannot wait.......
