I forgot this existed.
tmacairjordan87 @ Nov 15th 2009 5:57PM
If I bled Sony I'm sure I would have too.
SpyderTaco (PSN: Ar4chNova89) @ Nov 15th 2009 6:09PM
I don't bleed Sony.
I bleed quality.
And I bleed downvotes..
eeeeeeeeeeefe @ Nov 15th 2009 6:09PM
It's like a poor-mans PS3 Buzz Quiz. Either the pay for one, or the awesome free one in PS Home with over a million questions..
SpyderTaco (PSN: Ar4chNova89) @ Nov 15th 2009 6:14PM
Yea but a lot of those questions are f*cking stupid.
I played a Star Wars quiz that was entirely Star Trek questions.
Except one. It was "Who shot first?"
A: Han
B: Greto
C: Darth Maul
D: Kool-Aid Man
SpyderTaco (PSN: Ar4chNova89) @ Nov 15th 2009 6:16PM
I was referring to the PlayStation Home Buzz game, not the retail version.
By the way, tmac gets +1 for being tmac.
Darth Bradwart, The Dark Lord of the Sith-ATDF Co-Founder @ Nov 15th 2009 6:17PM
Ahem...the name was Greedo, not 'Greto'.
It is obvious the Force is not strong in you...
SpyderTaco (PSN: Ar4chNova89) @ Nov 15th 2009 6:20PM
No, the person wrote it as "Greto".
I know it's Greedo.

"poor-mans quiz" - erm, this is an xbox live gold feature...
Orchard Pear @ Nov 15th 2009 6:23PM
And to the surprise of absolutely nobody, here comes T-Mac in his 360 branded hummer, to defend anything and everything Microsoft.

That Hummer should have red LED's on three quarters of each rim...then it would be more realistic.
whylekat @ Nov 15th 2009 6:42PM
You do win free stuff with 1vs100. Can this Sony trivia game say the same?
poodude @ Nov 15th 2009 6:53PM
Too many downvotes, it hurts my eyes.
SpyderTaco (PSN: Ar4chNova89) @ Nov 15th 2009 6:55PM
How is it 'free stuff' when you pay for the service?
whylekat @ Nov 15th 2009 7:02PM
Oh please Spyder. You pay for xbox live service regaurdless. Did I have to buy a 1vs100 retail disc or download.. No.
Don't avoid the question.. Does this buzzkill trvia thru shitty PS Home give real dollar amount prizes or not?
SpyderTaco (PSN: Ar4chNova89) @ Nov 15th 2009 7:05PM
Buzzkill?
What?
Darth Bradwart, The Dark Lord of the Sith-ATDF Co-Founder @ Nov 15th 2009 7:06PM
I'm a PS3 owner...and I must confess ignorance about any kind of trivia in Home. Where is it?
SpyderTaco (PSN: Ar4chNova89) @ Nov 15th 2009 7:09PM
It's in the Buzz home space. There is a door you can go into.
It's an entertaining few minutes but nothing worth writing about, much like most of the things in PlayStation Home.
PedoJokerBear [Planeteer | Power of Gall Bladder] @ Nov 15th 2009 7:10PM

whylekat @ Nov 15th 2009 7:11PM
Buzzkill? Home Buzz? Buzz off?
Whatever that Sony trvia Home game that guy was talking about is called.
Kyle @ Nov 15th 2009 7:12PM
@Darth-
Doesn't Home have a Buzz homespace which lets you answer question and other crap with friends.
Darth Bradwart, The Dark Lord of the Sith-ATDF Co-Founder @ Nov 15th 2009 7:14PM
I've never seen this Buzz Homespace.
But I've booted Home three times in a year...
SpyderTaco (PSN: Ar4chNova89) @ Nov 15th 2009 7:16PM
...Buzzkill gave me the urge to play more Modern Warfare 2.
I think I need to go into rehab.

This is such a great service. You can literally spend hours playing this thing. Fun for the whole family.
Darth Bradwart, The Dark Lord of the Sith-ATDF Co-Founder @ Nov 15th 2009 6:18PM
And so easy a caveman can play it, right?
djbuhhda @ Nov 15th 2009 7:17PM
yeap alot of fun for the family, and these cheevos sounds pretty easy to me.

Darth Bradwart, The Dark Lord of the Sith-ATDF Co-Founder @ Nov 15th 2009 5:43PM
I actually played this quite a bit, but I only made it into the mob once.
But when questions like 'What song by *insert modern band here* won a Grammy" come up...I just have to guess.
TobiasReaper89 @ Nov 15th 2009 5:44PM
There shoudn't be one for getting questions wrong when it keeps stats on everything you do.
whylekat @ Nov 15th 2009 6:48PM
I concur. Especially when your chances for being the One or in the Mob, and thus chances of winning actual prizes, depend on percentage of correct answers.
jayeffaar @ Nov 16th 2009 11:13AM
Your problem is that you're thinking like a completionist would wants all achievements NOW. If you just play the game normally for a while, you're going to get that achievement for three quick wrong answers in a row eventually, without having to intentionally hurt your stats.
jayeffaar @ Nov 16th 2009 11:17AM
That should have been be "a completionist *who* wants all achievements"... My brain works in strange ways before my first morning coffee... ;)
Jon @ Nov 15th 2009 5:45PM
i love this game. i wish i was actually free during the times it was on during the school year.
whylekat @ Nov 15th 2009 6:50PM
You're not free from 8pm until 1am? Or 4pm on Sundays??
Dreaded Fear @ Nov 15th 2009 5:45PM
I stopped playing after a week since I never got into the mob. It is okay, but it is obvious there are a lot of cheaters playing the game. They need to split up the games so people actually have a chance of getting into the mob, or the one.
whylekat @ Nov 15th 2009 6:54PM
Dude are you sure you played this at all??
I dunno how anyone would cheat. You only get a few seconds to answer each question. Def not enough time to google for the correct answer.
Maybe people play at bars or in large groups and then at least one person knows the correct answer before the choices are displayed.
whylekat @ Nov 15th 2009 6:59PM
And really you quit after a week because you never got into the mob?? There's usually anywhere from 40 to 100 THOUSAND people playing. Only 101 can actually be the one or the mob. You seriously expected to get into that withen a week?? You probably have the same chances hitting lotto.
BIGGEN (LIVE-PSN: BIGGEN1103) @ Nov 15th 2009 7:10PM
i agree, you should have played longer cause i got into the mob the first day of the second week i played.
Markez @ Nov 15th 2009 8:14PM
Anybody who has played the game knows that without a doubt, the leaderboard is packed with cheaters. Not arguable. As much of a muliconsole owner yet 360 homer that I am, it's indisputable, you can't argue that the game isn't packed with cheaters.
Not the 'somebody is googling the answer' kind of cheaters. Don't argue, it shows you don't know what you're talking about.
Dreaded Fear @ Nov 15th 2009 8:17PM
Oh, please. Give me a break. Why would I play something I don't have any fun with? There are cheaters, and there are several ways people do it: hack to see the questions, have someone googling beside you (even if it is only 3 seconds there is still time for it)
I never thought I would see the day there would be 1 vs 100 fangirls.
Reader @ Nov 15th 2009 10:33PM
Any sources? I hadn't heard of this trivia thing, but Markez your argument that cheaters exist is pretty hollow... Actually it's borderline retarded. Saying something isn't arguable and that you're right ad nauseam doesn't make it anymore true.
I wouldn't bet against you though. By nature, almost all multiplayer scoreboards are packed with a good amount of cheaters.
whylekat @ Nov 15th 2009 10:38PM
I just can't fathom how a game like that running Live is able to be cheated or hacked..
whylekat @ Nov 15th 2009 10:38PM
I just can't fathom how a game like that running Live is able to be cheated or hacked..
Please explain or give examples.
Markez @ Nov 15th 2009 11:07PM
Forgive me, Reader, it's an internet blog. Commenting as I see fit without the rigorous standards of journalistic pursuit. Just saying what I'm seeing. Anyone who has played a lot of 1 versus 100 on live knows that there are cheaters. Sure, it's anecdotal, but it's all I got.
Whylekat - Play 1 v 100 on xbox live for awhile, it's obvious.
Courtney @ Nov 16th 2009 12:56AM
There are either cheaters, or during the last beta the system was so glitched that the majority of the leaderboards had scores that were simply impossible to attain. The kind of scores that could only be gotten by getting every single question right within less than a second of the question appearing on the screen. And having 10+ people do that over and over again every round. Sorry, I just don't buy that.
The host even commented once that you couldn't trust the leaderboards because there were known scoring glitches. Glitch or cheater, I don't know, but the system was never fair or functional during it's first run. Will have to see how much of that got fixed.
