We've put quite a bit of time into Modern Warfare 2's online multiplayer offerings, but we've yet to unlock a perk that lets you rapid fire grenades, or jump 80 feet into the air without succumbing to death upon landing. However, the soldiers seen in the video after the jump seem to be doing just that. Is it, like, a prestige perk, or something?
Well, it couldn't possibly be because they're playing on a dedicated server, where such suspensions of the laws of nature are allowed. See, those don't exist. Sure, the video's description says that hackers have enabled these superhuman abilities on "a whole new wave of servers," but we all know that most of those people are total liars anyways.
Not only that!!!! IWNet is already hacked. You can just download the full torrent of the game and then the MP hack and create a bogus steam account, then log in and play with people who bought the game!! hahahahahha
Whenever 'hackers' is used as a generic term, I am inclined to think that the writer doesn't understand how the internet works, and assumes hackers are possessors of dark magic reincarnated in the 21st century. Granted, in this case it is not so.
Quarry, Derailed, and Estate are just awful. AWFUL... Estate is way too big for its own good, Derailed is just a fucking catastrophe, and Quarry is a quarry.
i love wasteland. WA2000 + thermal scope + FMJ = amazing. i love derail and estate too. great long range maps with short range capabilities. but agreed on the quarry hate. it looked like such a small map, and it's actually HUGE.
perhaps hackers created the contemporary PC gaming situation - lackluster PC titles and ports - but damn, they surely arent lying down in the 'graves' they dug.

Personally, I am wondering what the next move from IW and Activision will be. You can believe that Valve will not let that hack that allows people to play pirated version on steam to last long. There probably will be a required patch that comes down quick to stop that. On the DS hack, I would like to know more information on how they achieved it. Port forwarding is one way but you would still need the necessary files in order to run a DS server. If IW did not provide those files, I highly doubt a hacker created the exes/DLL themselves. If the hackers just modified their PVP private game and go into the console to change the settings then this is not really a big issue.
you cant tweak a dedi server without a console so this is just a step if you actually go to the site with the files google it not sure if it can get me in shit
it states the it runs on the IWnet servers just like the videos you tube blurb states
but the ability to use the console means that we can customise the games to the settings that we wanted on dedis like S&D best of 4 point is lame what happened to best of 6-10 and the kills are worth half what they are in TDM now instead of 5 times
theres no incentive to play it
plus wheres my FF TDM oh theres 3 of my guys and 2 of theres lets just rain down a pred missle on them FF would make it more balanced out of the sheer necessity to stop being tubers for there kill streaks

I think it's kinda funny that IW / Activision said "hey we're eliminating private servers to cut down on cheating and help us control the player experience and make it as smooth as possible."
and the Very First thing the "opposition" to that decision does is craft a server with an ability that completely breaks the game lol.
I mean we all know that IW / Activision really just wants to be able to sell DLC on the PC someday but on the surface it's still kinda funny.
