Rumor: Toys R Us Black Friday deals leaked

Don't want to grow up or pay full price for video games? A list of purported Black Friday game deals for Toys R Us has shown up online, with a few temporary price drops that may justify a late night or early morning trip to TRU on November 27.

Most of the great deals are "5AM Doorbusters," which means that if you have yet to pick up Halo 3: ODST, Need for Speed Shift, or Forza 3, they'll all be $34.99 ... at 5AM. Good luck! Also marked down at that obscenely early hour: Dead Space Extraction, which most of you have yet to pick up. It'll be just $24.99. Whether any of that is worth getting up at ridiculous o'clock to fight each other over is your call. See the full list of deals here.

Any ideas if those deals will be up on their website for sale? I live in Canada but still enjoy watching good deals in the US on Black Friday. I usually by a few stuff, ship it to our sister company in the USA and get them to ship them back to me here.

Anyone else a bit underwhelmed by these "leaked" black friday specials?

some of them from various stores are lousy...again.....just like last year

but hell Target is going to have a 32" LCD TV for $246.....sure its just a Westinghouse but I remember 8 years ago when a 26" SYLVANIA TUBE TV cost that much....so I will be getting that for my Daughters room.....was only going to get them a 26" but at that price fuck it.....

Very much so. Granted, it's hard to top all of the buy 2 get 1 free deals from a few weeks back. Still, list some bigger name releases. Even knocking $5 off of MW2, new Mario Bros, or Uncharted 2 this season will attract more than DS Extraction (which, I'm sorry but let's face it, will be $25 regularly soon enough anyway).

You might has well take that 246$and burn it.

I garantee you you'll get a way better image quality, even full spectrum colors, good black level color and full HD/3D effect just by looking at your 246$ burning than buying a Westinghouse on sale (which is probably their 3 years old model).

If it's for his daughter...I doubt she cares how HD the picture looks.

nah its not that old.....I checked the model number and its only been out since January and like I said its for my kids room....for them to watch their DisneyHD, Blu-ray Disney movies, and Upconverted DVDs.....it will look great to them.....better than the 7 year old 20" Flat-screen CRT model they have now

Black Friday always sucks. They only sell really crappy stuff for cheap. They never have store wide sales either. Ive never bought anything on Black Friday, I dont want to waste money on a horrible TV or a crappy game, Id rather use that money towards things that are actually good.

They should change the name to "Clear Out Unpopular Inventory Friday"

Looks to be very underwhelming indeed so far. Some of the deals on TVs seem decent, but I don't plan on ever getting up early for a "doorbuster" deal anywhere. I look for the online deals, but in this instance I would rather sleep in and pay the extra $30 or whatever than sacrifice my sleep and haul my still stuffed and hungover ass up that early to stand in the cold and battle other bloated hungover assbags just because I've got to play fake drums for that Taylor Swift song on Christmas morning.

That's it for TRU? Pitiful.

I hope Amazon.com matches the price for Left4dead2 at Best Buy. Then I won't have to bother with all this nonsense. Hell, even if they don't. I don't think freezing my ass off for 6+ hrs to save $25 is worth it.

You'd be much better getting an open-box deal somewhere. Or even a display model of a GOOD quality TV.

Hell, BB had a 42" Dynex for $549 a few months ago.

And right now, with no sale price, their 32" TV is $299.

"Quality" aside, I'd be more than happy to pay an extra $50 to A) Not fight lines and B) have a TV with a truckload more longevity and good name behind it than the "Westinghouse" brand.

Just like I'd never buy a Zenith or RCA, Westinghouse is right up there.

To all the people ragging on Westinghouse, I bought a 32" 720p LCD from them 3 odd years ago for ~$700. Ive used it daily since for 6+ hours a day, playing games and I use it as my computer monitor. I see nothing wrong with it and think it was of excellent build quality. Can anyone explain why so many people think they are crappy TVs?

Actually, I'm up at 5:00 AM anyway. It's the only time of day that's well and truly QUIET. Then the damn birds start up, and it's all ruined.

Anyway, I haven't been in a Toys "DSG" Us for a decade. This time, I'd have money, and I can imagine I might end up going for Halo and find myself buying a nerf gun instead. Then I lose the darts, it goes with the other nerf guns, and I remember haven't grown mentally since I hit puberty.

There are still some good ones. Best Buy is selling L4D2 and Brutal Legend for 35 bucks. I think Radioshack (of all places) is going to have Dualshock 3s for 35 as well. I really need one, the Sixaxis fuckin blows.

Well - if you have a Six Axis and want a dualshock. Buy a DS from Best Buy, swap it with the Six Axis, return. Done.

last year on black friday one of radioshack's black friday deals was a dualshock 3 for $20 (I can confirm this because I got one)

Legos are nutritious, everyone knows that. And when you get 'em hooked on Legos, you can just get Lego Star Wars for an easy transition into actual gifts later on. It's a win-win!

you can get legos.....DUPLO....those are the bigger legos...and they connect with the smaller legos when they get older.....thats what I got my kids
