Super Street Fighter IV Team Battles and Endless modes detailed
Teams of two, three and four will be able to see who's the best Hadoukener around in the new Team Battles mode, which is a "round-robin elimination" mode where "one man stays until beaten, next team member rotates in," Capcom's Chris Kramer told Joystiq. So players will be able to either control a team themselves or assign slots to other players in the room. Just don't go expecting any tagging in and out -- that only happens in other Capcom games.
The other new mode is Endless mode, a one-on-one elimination mode where two players duke it out and the winner stays in the hot seat and fights the next individual queued up. If you've had any experience with DOA 4, then Endless mode is kinda like that game ... sans the ability to be a chicken in a sombrero running around a martial arts dojo.
Capcom was also kind enough to include some new videos, strictly for training purposes. You can check out newcomer Juri fight T. Hawk above and, if you want some MAXIMUM gameplay footage, head past the break to see her fight Deejay.

C'mon, Joystiq, when do we get to see footage of Super Street Fighter IV Turbo?
Granger @ Nov 16th 2009 5:21PM
Hopefully soon so they can announce Super Street Fighter IV Turbo SD Remix for Wii.
robert @ Nov 16th 2009 5:35PM
INB4 people thinking they're funny by making jokes like, "super street fighter mega turbo deluxe edition" etc etc etc ad infinitum.

Gun Barrier @ Nov 16th 2009 5:10PM
I can't wait for this game!
koehler83 @ Nov 16th 2009 5:10PM
Is it just me, or are the fighters both speaking Japanese while the announcer is speaking English?
Platy @ Nov 16th 2009 5:18PM
In SF4 you can choose if the characters speak english or japanese ...including doing stuff like ryu speaking japanese and ken speaking english in the same fight
...and i think the announcer is english by default everywhere ...
*tryes to imagine things like "finish him" and "c-c-c-c-c-combo breaker" *

Have we found out if there is an option to turn the announcer OFF!? especially on the VS loading screen.
NemesisCW @ Nov 16th 2009 7:44PM
Or at least switch it to the original?
WiNG [XBL&Steam: WiNGSPANTT] from lifeinagame.com @ Nov 16th 2009 5:24PM
That Juri Ultra never gets old, it's just oozing with style. I hope all the "2nd Ultras" they are adding to each character are as cool!
xGearSecondx @ Nov 16th 2009 5:33PM
Can't wait to see who else is in the game as well
Deadpool @ Nov 16th 2009 6:20PM
I'm rooting for Guy from Final Fight/Alpha series. If the rumors where true, then he should be in the game.
Michael @ Nov 16th 2009 6:27PM
I vote Dudley! His stage had the best theme music ever.
"Let's fight like gentlemen"
NemesisCW @ Nov 16th 2009 7:45PM
"UPPAH-CAT!"
Rop @ Nov 16th 2009 8:38PM
Dudley would truly rock it! He's way sophistimacated and, yeah! Oh, and I can't wait to play as DeeJay, love that chap!
I hope they have way better locales than the original. Like that Buddha statue in the conceptual art/design sketches... Dynamic!!
Rop @ Nov 16th 2009 8:31PM
They ought to get that announcer from the Halo series. His voice rocks! Jeff Steitzer would do this game a great service! Are you listening Capsom? :D
This new guy's soundbyte -- while miles better than that DJ-try-hard-wannabe-tosser's voice from the original -- still sounds forced, albeit, slightly contrived, but still, it's not too bad. Just sounds like his got a cockroach stuck in his throat or some such bug.
Richard 2.6 @ Nov 16th 2009 11:37PM
Not that is was great or anything, but I'd take DJ-try-hard-wannabe-tosser's voice over the new lost-his-job-at-the-monster-truck-rally-arena announcer any day.
cafecito @ Nov 16th 2009 8:45PM
DeeJay's super-special or whatever it is called looks cool (move-wise), but it's not as cinematic as the others. That kinda sucks.
Dylan @ Nov 16th 2009 9:42PM
I'VE NEVER SEEN ANYTHING LIKE THIS!
7egend @ Nov 16th 2009 10:35PM
I think Juri is rocking a unfair advantage, she is using Geass.
MF Hectoor @ Nov 17th 2009 2:36AM
the new announcer sounds soooo annoying!!!
Rop @ Nov 17th 2009 2:57AM
Hahaha! Well, I guess they are both just as bad, eh? Heh.
JeffyP00 @ Nov 17th 2009 9:40AM
They need to add some kind of voice modulation slider control to the options so we can change the pitch and volume of the announcer as we see fit. A lot of people hate the old guy, but I thought he was fine. This new guy though, ugh! The deeper voice has way too much presence, where it sounds like he's one of the fighters in the match. Way more distracting than the old guy.
cafecito @ Nov 17th 2009 10:35AM
What they need to add is a "no announcer" option. Things were fine without him.
Vcize @ Nov 17th 2009 11:27AM
Holy crap, did anyone notice how much damage that first combo with T-hawk did? Looked pretty easy to pull off too.
