Good God man! You are so high on drugs you can not even reply to comments properly! You suggest : "...Remember the good ol'' days when you didn't have the internet telling you how a game sucked or played but had to relie on the box or a friend or even how much you liked the subject matter that influenced your game purchases.............." So why are you using the very thing you complain against? Your strange logic and lack of grammatical mastery has me vexed young man!

Who the hell wanted a Two Worlds sequel? Seriously? Only people with abhorrently bad taste when it comes to video games, that's who. Two Worlds should've never released. It was a disaster in every sense of the word. After seeing this post on Joystiq, I checked out the new trailer for Two Worlds II, and I can't believe how bad it was.

SouthPeak and Reality Pump, are you freaking serious. Stop this game dead in its tracks and never let this failure of a sequel clog up retail shelves, please. Thanks.

Sincerely,
A Gamer With Good Taste

I just about dropped a kid when I heard they were making a sequel to Two Worlds, and that's hard cause I'm a guy. I remember getting excited about another RPG being compared to Oblivion being released and (stupidly) went out and bought a new copy in the first week without reading any user reviews. Oh My God. It felt like I was directing a rock 'em sock 'em robot throughout a large, hard to manuever world. I hung a left outside of the temple you start in and was half beaten to death by a wolf so I ran, wound up at a temple that a ghost I couldn't yet touch killed me and still had no clue where to go. After I got a feel for the controls it started to feel okay, until I started talking to characters in the game, and wow. It hurt my eyes AND ears to listen to a whole story written in horrible dialogue that was acted out even worse. Seriously, adding 'thee/thy' as the primary pronouns and '...ith' to the end of most words actually took away the fantasy from the game. I could go on, but I'll spare reciting what we all know...the game was disappointing to the nth degree. It had redeeming qualities, like the teleport to set points with a teleport stone (though the ridiculous mission to get them made makes you want to cry in itself), but they threw together a multiplayer option for the game. WHY?! It already lags out when I'm solo, what do you think happens when you add others? These opinions are based on playing the whole game, determined to ring every last achievement and dollar worthy moment out of it.

So somehow they managed to convince someone to sponsor a sequel. I hope they fine tune that combat system I saw in the video. It looks like my 5 year old son's karate sparring with slow carefully though of movements. For a 5 year old, cool. For a VG, holy crap no. It, like it's predecessor, has a lot of potential if they execute it right. And I truly hope when they say they've put together their experience they actually mean they've learned from their many mistakes (Ok, my first horse began jumping up and down at the stable fencepost and I was stuck on it. I looked like I was on a stationary merry-go-round and had to restart after several minutes of trying everything I could think of). I will probably add it to my GameFly queue to give it a shot and determine if they're going to make something out of this 'franchise'. But like many of you, I doubt they can do justice to the Fantasy RPG genre this time either...

If they just get rid of the bugs and polish it, it will be great. I saw potential in the first one.
