VidZone expanding to 11 more European countries

Europe's totally awesome (and totally exclusive) VidZone service is finally expanding its reach. Sorry Americans, but this free music video streaming service isn't coming our way. Instead, eleven new European countries will be able to join the party by year's end. Here's the roll-out schedule:

Ya know Sony may just got something here with VidZone. The possibilities, expanding it to more countries, getting deals with studio's, being the #1 place to reveal music video's, possible connect it to the PSN store and sell Music, they could really do good with this.
Great to here it's rolling out further, but I doubt Sony will push it as far as some may hope. But maybe!

Something like this will never come over to the U.S. until some fat, sloppy, scumbag can get rich off it.

Would be nice if it was possible for Canada to get this stuff. I think things like the video store and vidzone are impossible with the way things work here. You know... considering that we don't get any of this stuff, and Sony doesn't even comment on whether we CAN get this stuff.

It's really depressing that we can't use this in the States (I actually tried downloading it with a Euro account and it just boots me upon start-up.) This seems incredibly awesome compared to Microsoft and Apple's "pay us money for content you can get free everywhere else" approach to music videos.

May I be the first to congratulate the folks from New Zealand on becoming European Citizens, certainly better than being part of Australasia :D

The search feature stops this being great, they need to integrate the onscreen keyboard which would be so much faster.
It is quite nice for making party video playlists as long as you have the time in advance to set it up.

Ahhh not seen that update, will give it a look. Combined with the reduction in adverts that actually makes it much more appealing.
Cheers.
