I don't understand how Godzilla turned out so damn terrible...

It had both Jeff Goldblum and Mathew Broderick!

Such a waste.

You are thinking about Jurassic Park...

Godzilla =/= T-Rex

Oh I wasn't confusing the classic that is Jurassic Park with the trash that is Godzilla. Trust me. That movie made me fall in love with Jeff Goldblum, no homo.

Hey! I own a PS3 AND a PSP. What are the odds, right? I guess this is good news for me.

That's actually a pretty cool feature. I see the two paper weights becoming more useful every day.

Okay, that's a little harsh, but it still doesn't distinguish the PS3 as a game system for me. The PSP is a little different, but still.

Nevertheless, that's a pretty cool feature that I would definitely use.

I know no one here really cares...but I'd still like to see access to these digital copies on my Zune. It works with Windows Media Player. I don't know why it isn't compatible with the Zune. Stupid DRM >

Because Microsoft would prefer Blu-Ray didn't exist...they backed HD-DVD.

Why can't you transfer the file from Windows Media Player to Zune?

(Legitimate question)

@ Darth

Technically, there is a portable BD player (http://www.engadget.com/2009/01/07/hands-on-with-panasonics-dmp-b15-portable-blu-ray-player-at-ces/), but this is still easy way to transfer movies onto the PSP.

Does this mean the iTunes or WM digital copy discs will no longer ship on Sony titles? While I might not be rushing out to grab a copy of Godzilla or The Ugly Truth, they do have a few movies I'd want to pick up...

Aside from these files being stupid large, I don't get the point in the first place of watching a movie on something as small as a PSP. Like usually when you're out of the house, it's because you're doing something, not because you have 2 hours and nothing better to do than watch an entire movie in the palm of your hand ... ?

If that's your attitude then why bother with a portable gaming system at all?

It must be nice to never be stuck somewhere bored....

I guess add that to another great bonus to having both a PS3 and PSP.
This is brilliant for portable favourite movies, instead of pirating them.

My biggest problem with watching movies on the PSP:

Ever try doing it on a plane? Unless you have noise-cancelling headphones, even with the volume cranked I can't even hear it. Maybe it's just me, but I'd swear the volume levels on movies just don't mix with the PSP.

Oddly, the game volume is just fine, which leads me to believe it's an encoding problem.

It's just you. My main use for PSP movies is on Plane rides, it's much more convenient than screwing around with a laptop and the PSP has a great little screen.

If you have any video UMDs there is a video volume boost in the "video settings" menu. I dunno if it affects the volume during non-UMD playback, but I have it maxed all the time anyway. :)

It looks like your just download the movie of the PSN. Of course the disc takes you to the site, and then you use the keycode to download it.

I would be better to just download of the disc....

this is STUPID!

How do I get the digital copy on to my PS3 and my PSP when it comes on a 2nd disk?
