"Oh, my six pack abs are going to make this movie sell more tickets? Well, okay, I guess." It's the godamn hipocrisy of the thing that is most unsettling. The movement is more about the immasculation of men than the empowerment of women.

1. Your right. I jumped the gun on the rape issue. Apologies.
2. I never said the objectification of men was acceptable. I'm not a fan of it. The issue at stake is that it's not nearly as much of an issue in gaming, i.e. we have way more well-rounded male characters than female characters. Additionally, men being the dominant binary are less damaged by unfair representation, though again, this does not justify it.

It always cheers me up when marketing departments/agencies actually manage to put forth some semblance of humor in their ads. 96% of what we see is "trying" to be funny and failing miserably. This actually made me laugh, at both the locked doors everywhere and the mysterious workings of a character's inventory.
