You do know that FilePlanet had/has enough codes to feed the starving population? Pretty much the easiest beta to get into, and DICE are giving away a bunch of codes every few hours on twitter.

Credit to the developers for recognizing that the daytime setting of RE5 was not the way to go, and bringing a more traditional RE feel (nighttime/creepy mansion) to this DLC.

I still haven't played RE5 yet, I usually pick up games a while after release to save me some bones. Is this worth it if i could get it for around £20-£30?

Very worth it... game is gorgeous and plays great. You might get a little frustrated with how dumb your AI partner can be sometimes (don't let your AI buddy have health items, lol), but the co op experience is just fantastic. It's an action game and not your traditional RE title, but it's really a great game.

Are you using AdBlock? Some kind of Flash blocker? Have the latest version of Flash installed? How much wood could a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood?

This depresses me.
I remember playing the first Resident Evil back in the day when it first came out. It was a unique experience, and now it's just too "hollywood" for me. The remake on the gamecube was good enough. Now we visit the mansion a third time? C'mon.
Oh well I'll probably buy this anyways.

No matter how out of date the traditional RE style is, I still prefer it to the current action style. So I'll have to see more about this before I think about downloading it. But it's great that their going back to the story roots.

ummm this may sound stupid, but is the gold edition a completely different game than the original resident evil 5?
