I hate how it works sometimes and then completely screws up 5 mins later. Some games are pretty horrible on it also. They might as well have called it Monster Hunter Party because that's basically all anyone plays and the occasional Dissida and Gran Turismo

Honestly though Monster Hunter is the main target with this, MHF: Unite was touted to use this software, but we've had to either wait several months, or used the japanese program, to use its feature.

War of the Lions? I beat it... Then I played the DS Tactics 2, and realized how slow and frustrating WotL was.

I got that same comment. Seeing as my PS3 is no where near my router, it is very unlikely that I will be using this piece of software unless a fix is made or something. Does it have something to do with my NAT Type? Mine says Nat "Type 2."

The wifi card in the PS3 can only be used for one task at a time. this being internet or adhoc.

to be able to do both they would need two wifi cards in the system

@Twib - That's not true. I can remote play directly to my PS3 and use it's browser over wifi. But who knows there might be some other complication they have to work around.

I hear that a Wired Connection is a Standard for any tunneling software. So this may be the reason.

this company really seems to have its priorities out of whack, doesn't it? odd little niche things like this and they can't make it so i can buy stuff/make friend request/send messages, etc on my PC for my PS3 (or XGC, but that's a given)? that's what i really want!

Well, pretty soon I'll get to move into my new house where I can be wired in. My wifi card is busy giving my PS3 web access.

I think this is bull that you need a PS3 to use Ad-Hoc party. Seriously, playing multiplayer online should have been considered from the beginning of the PSP's life. How about they update the actual PSP to run Ad-Hoc Party? You know, so us PSP owners don't have to dish out a couple hundred dollars more to play PSP games online?

If you're having problems getting your router wired to your PS3, you could try an Ethernet through mains type solution. Homeplug kind of thing, that's what I do.

The built-in wireless was a HUGE selling point for me because otherwise I'd need a 30+ foot cable to plug it in to my router on the other side of the house.

So.... No... I am not going to go out and buy a cable and muck about in a crawlspace for this. Thanks anyway.
