I'm somewhat surprised by the amount of "they need to fire Cammie" chatter I'm seeing. In this economy, I really don't want to see anyone get laid off unless they are completely arrogant and incompetent. Cammie isn't either of those.

I mean, compared to the Howard Lincoln days, the top brass in the U.S. at least use their products and have an understanding of the history of them. Howard had no idea what games were, just what the law is.

Anyway, hopefully we'll either see Denise Kaigler back in a few years or maybe she just decided to move on and take it easy at home.

No matter what an exec says, they're ALWAYS lying when they say they're quitting to spend time with their family. The sole exception is when a family member has cancer or some sort of terminal disease. I don't know why every company does this, but they do. Odds are, she's being given an easy way out because Nintendo wants to fire her, or she's going to find another (higher paying job) elsewhere.

I don't have an opinion about her either way, but this is what they do.

If I had enough money to retire comfortably I would, no point in working your whole life when you could be having fun.

Obviously you wouldn't just sit around doing nothing, but those type of jobs are probably very time consuming.

Well at least we won't have to hear her excuses anymore as to why the Wii doesn't have any games. Probably just means more Reggie and soccer mom lady...I'm gonna call that a draw.
