Uwe Boll is adapting everyone's favorite video game, Bloodrayne 3

At the risk of being repeatedly pawnched, we think we can accurately describe all of Uwe Boll's video game-based films as "wretched." However, we've got a theory for why that is -- his attempt to adhere to the plot of these games limited his otherwise limitless directing potential. Fortunately, that won't be a problem on his next film project: Bloodrayne 3: Warhammer, a film based on a video game which does not exist.

We'll contact Majesco to find out if this means another Bloodrayne title is secretly in the works -- but let's be honest, now. This sounds a lot like some good ol' fashioned Bollnanigans. Bollshines. Bollduggery.

In the Name of the King was really, really bad. I don't care how passionate he is for his work, that movie just wasn't good.

Boll did that movie? no wonder it was horrid. and to think that jason statham took on that role. -shudder- and now i recall how horrid ray liota was in it...-sigh-

2009: Uwe Boll agrees to make a third Bloodrayne movie.
2010: Bloodrayne 3 releases late Winter.
2011: Impressed at his determination and ability to secure video game licenses, George Lucas teams up with Uwe Boll to make a sequel to a movie that hasn't even been made yet.
2012: Despite not coming after anything, the sequel releases. The world comes to a pause, and in that brief moment life, as we know it, comes to a halt.

And the cycle continues. More hopes destroyed, more dreams killed. How many more franchises and series have to be sacrificed for this evil directors pleasure. How many more fans must suffer.

I disagree with joystiq this time, Postal is pretty funny. Definitely worth a watch. Not so much a rewatch.

I'm going opening night... to keep people from going to see it. The theaters wont kick me out as long as i convince the people to see something else instead, amirite?

I love that people still greenlight his movies. I would have thought for sure that, by now, movie execs would know better. But alas.

Doesn't he put up most of the investing for his movies himself? He may be an a-hole and horrible film maker, but he does happen to be pretty rich...

Omg the 1st one was awful enough!

The second Bloodrayne movie was direct to DVD (Wal-Mart even stocked quite a few copies) and it even came with the second Bloodrayne came able to be installed on PC via the DVD menu.

Well he fucked up the first and second one, might as well let him fuck up the third.

What people don't know is that Uwe Boll does decent in Europe. Decent enough to continue making movies based on DVD sales.

It shouldn't come of any surprise though, Europe is reversed.

Seriously, if this person can continue to get uwe boll directing gigs, he/she should probably move onto somebody with talent and make them a star.
