But, you say you're not in the MAG beta? Well, we'll fix that right now! Become a Joystiq fan on Facebook and you'll be able to score yourself a code.

To enter this giveaway:
- Join Joystiq's Facebook fan page here.
- Then, leave one comment on this specially marked Facebook post.
- You must be 18 years or older and a resident of the US or Canada (excluding Quebec).
- Limit 1 entry per person.
- The entry period is scheduled to begin at 3:15PM ET on Monday, November 23 and will end when all codes have been distributed or at 6:00PM ET on Tuesday, November 24, whichever comes first.
- The first 128 eligible commenters will receive one code for the MAG multiplayer beta (ARV: N/A). Codes are only compatible with PlayStation 3 and require a PlayStation Network account and internet access to redeem.
- MAG Beta 4.5 will begin on November 24 and will end at 3:00AM ET on December 5.

Do I need a Facebook account to enter this contest?
Yes. Coordinating a 128-person team will require a good deal of communication, and Facebook offers a free, safe platform for conversation.
When will Joystiq's 128-person team play?
Our Facebook Discussion page will have updates on when our team will meet. Even if you didn't win a beta code from us, please join us! We'll be recording some of our best games to show on Joystiq as well.

I'm already in the Beta and I don't use facebok but can I still be on yer ole team? This game is pretty awesome btw ... i think ppl who haven't played it are going to like it. Still, I like BF:BC2 better than MAG ... and both better than MW2.

Since it just came out it's hard not to draw comparisons. Also, considering I've played Bad Company 2, MAG and Modern Warfare 2 I'm giving an honest opinion. But, simply saying I like MAG & BC2 better than MW2 is hardly hating. In fact, it's stating my opinion. Don't like it? Use the Joystiq comment kill filter and never see any of my comments again.

Considering it's multiplayer only and the fact you've already casted judgement on it in the past without having played it you should probably save yourself the trouble of the 4+ GB download and just give the code to someone more deserving. I can tell you right now with 100% certainty that you won't like it, you'll say it sucks, the graphics are terrible and that no one works together as a team.

How am I being a hypocrite exactly? Check my PSN profile if you don't believe me but I already beat the game and put probably 7 or so hours into the multiplayer before I traded it in to Gamestop. More than enough time to formulate an opinion based off experience. It's not like I went into it the game expecting to hate it. I wanted to like it and I gave it a shot but I thought it was overrated.
Thats different than saying a game "sucks" before ever playing it. In fact, I usually try to even avoid saying MW2 sucks and try to make the caveat that it wasn't for me and that I feel it's overrated.

The game really is shapping up to be something good, and it was alot of fun when I was in it. BC2 is probably going to be the better game, based only on the beta's for the two, but still, if you like shooters than you really should try this out. Just remember to be a team player and listen to your squad leader. Not only is that the best way to win, but for you to get the most points and progress the fastest.

So any pseudo-reviews for this game yet? The concept is rather thrilling, though I must admit a disdain for FPS's.
