I believe GameStop has a deal on these. That's where I first saw these bundles.

I believe Best Buy is also throwing in a $20 gift card with purchase, so they'll be the ones to get this bundle from.

Is it me, or have Nintendo taken a leaf out of Sony's PS3 slim packaging?

Or has it always been like that?

RED! RED! Thats the most random colour you could possibly think of, its not even like the main portion of mario's costume is red!

A useful move to boost awareness of the DSi's expanded capabilities, at any rate.

It's the other stuff in that bundle that makes me want it. The Mario Calculator is just icing on the cake.

I'm not gonna lie, I might actually like to have that metallic blue Mario bundle. I thought it would just be a bundle with New Super Mario Bros. or something, but bundling it with DSiWare is better since I already have that game.

The metallic blue color looks nice, too. I think this would make for a nice Christmas morning, heh.

Then again, with DS2 possibly coming out late next year, and DSiWare kind of... meh, I'm not sure if there's much of a reason to get a DSi. On the other hand, my DS Lite's touch screen is pretty scratched up, so......

Completely torn on which one to get. I'd geek out over the Mario clock and calendar, but the Brain Age bundles are great time wasters in-between classes. Probably won't be able to decide until I reach the store.

But..But.. I like those games that come with the blue DSi and I really dislike the blue DSi. :[
Well, doesn't really matter since I want to get a DSiXL and not a DSi.

While this entices me, I only use my DS for Pokémon, so I have no reason to upgrade. I suppose the larger screen would be nice, but not worth the $170.

Oh, hot damn. I love that shade of blue. I liked the blue one we already got... but I really dig darker shades more than lighter ones.

Finally, a DSi with a color I want with free stuff on it, and I'll probably have to pass w/ the XL coming out even though there probably wont be a good blue version for quite a while.

My local Frys store actually had the Mario bundles in today, so that was all I needed to see to know that the Best Buy ad leak wasn't lying.

What's the best of the 2 and if I don't get a bundle then what is better?-------------->> DSi or DSlite? I can't even get these freakin Mario bundles on Wal-Mart.com or anywhere! I Don't wanna get the wrong thing! Enlighten me! Thanx:)

You want to get the DSi for sure.
The DSi is the newest model of DS. It has a whole new menu system as well as built in memory to store downloadable games and other files.
It has two cameras one to take photos of others, while the other points at you.
It has 16mb of ram vs 4.(four times as much!) It also has a CPU at 133 mhz vs. the 66mhz CPU in the lite. (two times as much)
Another thing is that it has an SD card slot and hardware AAC decoder... so you can use it as an MP4 player. (music) It has larger LCD screens, higher quality and louder audio hardware... It has two free DSi ware softwares available so far, with more to come.
So far there is the Opera web browser, and Flip note studio. (web browser and flip book style animation software)

The only thig they "lack" vs a ds lite is the old GBA (Gameboy Advance) cartridge slot. They removed this to save space... the DSi is thinner even with all the new stuff.

Your son will love a DSi, they are endless fun. :)
