There's no two ways about it: having your studio shut down does not feel good. However, it does feel good to be a gangsta. Damn good. To prove this ancient adage, some former Pandemic employees put together a little Office Space–inspired video to honor the house that brought us Mercenaries, the Star Wars Battlefront series and the upcoming release, The Saboteur.
Kotaku reports that the mercilessly destroyed printer was, in fact, used by the Saboteur team, giving the video an extra layer of sweet vengeance. A word to EA: if you're missing any red Swingline staplers, we might know where they are. Watch the (very NSFW) video after the break.
That must've felt pretty damn good. We did a similar thing to a Lexmark Laser printer when my former company shut down. No video but I seem to recall alcohol part of the proceedings.

They forgot to do the best part. A guy needs to run back while everyone is walking away and start punching at the printer. Family Guy actually did a pretty good parody of this scene as well.
But what made this great was that it was real. I'm sure it won't be hard for people at EA to find out who stole that printer, even without seeing their eyes. Let's hope they won't be assholes and actually go after them.

This was awesome! This would have been perfect, had someone remembered to take the toner out first. I think they probably dropped it, hit it, saw the cloud of toner, and then no on wanted to get too close to it. Notice late in the video, they are standing further out of frame pretty much just poking at it. Maybe it's actually funnier this way.
Better than most Pandemic games and that's not saying much. Plus, what is the point of the black bars censoring their eyes. Should have been their whole faces. That dude with the long hair and beard is so gonna get fired... oh wait, lol.
That whooping might have been even better than the one is the movie. Though the movie included the beating of a printer with bare hands which is pretty hardcore. For a printer beating.
I miss the sound effect from each "hit" though, that's the only thing they really missed (other than the already-commented-on lack of punching, which admittedly would hurt like hell).
i dont believe this shit for a second. 80% of the business that claim to have gone bankrupt, are actually just being bought out. its part of corporate centralization. they buy up all the business, and then they monopolize, they get so powerful not even the government can take them out.
