Ugh, the last thing this game needs is more Skags.

I'd pay for DLC that just takes them out of the game entirely.

4 enemy types, rushed ending, useless weapons and powers on next playthroughs. Gotta love it!

I wasn't bothered by the presence of skags in the main game. Also, I count at least 9 enemy types in the main game. Why is everyone hating on this game? I've found it to be a lot of fun.

Skags, Rakks, Bandits, Spiders. The other one doesn't count because you fight them for like 5 minutes. You get to play through 2 and all your weapons suck, and those weapons continue to suck barely denting enemy life while you're being shot down every 2 second. Then you find your powers are worthless. Good luck being berserk on Playthrough 2 because even with maxed shields, health, and regeneration by the time you make it to the enemy to throw a punch you're shot down. Not a very fun game to me. Down vote my opinion all you want. Doesn't change we all wasted money on a game that was only fun the first run through. And yes I played co-op with 2 other people. I played single player and it was impossible to win because you have no one to pick you up and enemies and bosses health instantly goes 100% after you die, tending to be a trial and error of 50 deaths.

I beat the game in playthrough 2 solo ... it's not that hard. And the other enemy type, you fight them for a fair amount of the end game. I don't think I wasted my money at all, it's an amazing game even with its problems.

If you have bad weapons, try weapons farming a bit. You'll get something good eventually.

no offense, but you sound like you dont really know what your doing in the game. I hated play through 1. it was so easy after the 2nd area. I blew threw it. Play through 2 has so far been so much better and more amusing. I went into it with 3 oranges, and havent had a problem killing anything. I dont think you are playing it right.

Yes I am playing it all wrong. I've been gaming for 20 years and still must be playing them wrong. Shame on me. Even leaving aside the outrageous hike in annoyance, it was bland. Desert, caves, 4 enemies, rushed ending, annoying dancing clap trap. Brilliant idea, horribly executed.

Wait what, if anything the downside to Borderlands is that its too easy, what are you doing thats making the second playthrough so hard?

We had to skip quests just to move to areas with higher level monsters so it was some kind of challenge.

Okay 5, as I said you fight them for 5 minutes in the end.

@Nox
I played it with 2 people co-op. More people = More Enemies = More difficult. But the weapon drops from that difficulty still proved to be no match for the insane difficulty hike. Also I went full berserk with max health and shields, giving me mass regeneration during berserk as well as high defense. On top of mort's regen, i still couldn't get to a guy to punch them. Now yes, we could beat them. After picking each other up every 2 seconds. But that isn't fun to constantly be on the ground all the time and feeling like your powers and weapons are there for nothing.

Am I the troll? For voicing my opinion of a game I think is bad? Isn't it a bit more trolling to down vote every single thing someone says simply for the fact of down voting and making the person look bad? Or telling them they don't know how to play games? I must be missing something. Anonymity really makes some of you people go all out abusive.

Sounds like a problem with Brick to me, we were 3 with no Brick and didn't have any problems. Can imagine if Brick is running in and dying the others will have to run in to save him, thus causing more death.

You can boost a new character to 35 by having your 2 friends run the last level repeatedly while you sit at the start of the level, takes about 20minutes. That is if you havn't given up with the game completly. The level 50 stuff is fun, find some crazy items.

I do agree that they're aren't a lot of enemy types, but saying there's just 5 doesn't really cover it - the main enemy types have several variations as listed above. I don't think there's such thing as 'max shields and health' since they're different types of shields with different attributes. Try changing your skills around, use them in conjuction with different skills as well as your weapons (ex I use mainly fire weapons because my class mod gives +52% ignite damage). You can hold different weapons/class mods/grenades/shields and switch out in different situations. Your making some valid points but you're trying to voice them very aggressively, which doesn't really work.

You've got the criticism part down, but you're missing out on the "constructive" side of things. Criticism without a constructive, and fair, nature is about the same as trolling.

It's one thing to say "this game sucks". It's another thing entirely if you say, "While they had a lot of different enemy classes, I wish they would add more types of main enemies", or something similar.

Then there is the fact that your original post had a severely sarcastic tone. You expect people to not attack when you sarcastically insult a game without saying one redeeming thing about it, then go on to make even worse comments?

Like I said, try being more constructive and less sarcastic, maybe then we'll respect you a bit more.

So let me get this straight.

I agree with someone's opinion. People become condescending toward me. I am then called the troll despite other people trolling my opinion. And my sarcastic tone of opinion is the worst of this to not gain me respect? Quit trying to cover the fact that I stated my opinion and was insulted.

Well to be fair you started off being pretty negative. I don't think everyone needs to be all helpful and nice and all that stuff all the time, but I just mean you could have said something a bit more constructive. I mean, you had to have expected at least some sort of backlack with that comment. You probably still would have gotten some negative responses even if you had said it less aggressively, I'll give you that. But I think people would see the difference between voicing your opinion and just bashing a game.

I've haven't played Brick that high so I have no experience with him in P2, but I'm sure you can figure something out - tons of people play the game and I haven't heard anything about him being particularly broken. It's part RPG, so different guns and skills and class mods can make all the difference.

As far as weak weapons go, it can depend.

Don't ever try to fight someone who is more than 3-4 levels above you unless you are really good. The difference in damage will probably cost you half of your ammo if you plan to take them all out (say a group of enemies or just one strong one).

Keep playing, you just get lucky sometimes. I got a level 19 rocket launcher that did more damage than most level 42 ones. It was around 260x3 with... I think a level 2 bio/poison attribute. Now I have a 620x3 normal rocket launcher for level 42+.

I have a sniper that does 550-600 damage or so, and a few shotguns that do about 90x11 I think... maybe more.

Like the other said, if weapons are the problem then just keep farming and hunting for them, eventually you'll get something good. I got mine just going through the main quests plus a few side ones.

Let me clear this. I farmed for weapons. I had gone through plenty of oranges. I understand the mechanics of the game. I know how to play. Sorry my opinion came across wrongly because they conflicted with all your's, but I still think it wasn't a good game.

You talk about people being condescening, then when I try to talk about your points you still act as if it's our fault you're being way too negative about all of this. Don't act like it's only because we're so against you hating the game that we're replying in such a fashion, try considering the fact that you're not so golden yourself.

If you really understand the mechanics you wouldn't have so much trouble. Simple as that - it's not that hard of a game.

I found nothing new, however the already prevalent framerate issues are amplified is this DLC. When fighting mutliple zombies and multiple effects happening (ex fire on enemies, the new slime effect on your HUD) there was some major slowdown. Only in larger battles, but it was still annoying.

So far the vending machine has been glitched and the frame rate drops to zero if you headshot more than 3 zombies at once. It seems so far to have no dialogue dropouts yet. Still a fun game, but I blazed through the DLC in about 2 hours and finally decided to pick up Assasins Creed 2 after a week of ignoring it.
