I will probably pass on this version only because I will be looking forward to picking up the following year's "Super Street Fighter IV Tournament Turbo Championship Alpha Edition ."
By this version they should have every fighter from the Capcom universe and hopefully by the time this game comes out Seth won't be an SOB

Yea your thinking of eagle. I wouldn't mind him being in the game though I could be pretty ruthless with him in Capcom Vs Snk 2. Now if only they were wiling to include Maki and Rolento they I would be in hog heaven

Cool, but get rid of Seth or make him an unbroken boss to fight.
I was replaying IV last night, and I stopped playing at the end because Seth is such a horrible character to fight against.

Wow what a tool.
I play arcade mode, because guess what? I like it.
And it frustrates me that Capcom thought it would be fun to give players a boss to fight against that completely breaks the conventions of the game.

I hate to break it to you, but you're in the minority. Most players will get this for the multiplayer action and this game was actually built for them in mind. (Character balancing, new online multiplayer modes, etc)
And seeing as Capcom (I believe) stated that they have everything unlocked out of the box AND would make Seth cheaper, I don't see anyone even thinking of playing the single player mode.

Regardless if I'm voicing a minority opinion, there isn't any justification to keep a character like that in the game.

The justification is a) no matter what he will remain as a Versus character since there's absolutely no reason to remove him from there and it would piss off a lot of people that main him if they did, and b) like drew said, people that buy fighting games for the single player are in the minority, so Capcom obviously isn't going to devote some of time they have on a brand new boss-type character just for that reason.
