Tekken 6 content is likely to be on the way via DLC, adding to the retailer-exclusive
Cardboard Tube Samurai outfit. But we can't groan about Namco Bandai using DLC for the popular fighter as a cash machine, because the company doesn't intend to charge for it. Harada said there was a "strong possibility" of additional downloadable content for the game -- possibly for the PSP version as well, since he didn't specify. "However, even if we were to do so, it would be free to the end user."
Of course, this is the same company that released
paid Star Wars DLC for
Soul Calibur IV after the director said
there wouldn't be. So don't go empty out your
Tekken 6 DLC fund just yet.

Actually, the problem with all of Namco's previous "DLC" is that it WAS on the disk when it shipped.
Unless you really believe a Darth Vader mesh and moveset could fit into 108 kB.
Now the thousand dollar question is when they're going to add Patty as DLC for Tales of Vesperia's xbox version.

Also... I'd forgotten Paul was even in the game.
Free stuff, from namco bandai does sound absurd... Remember paying for Yoda/Darth Vader when they were already on the disk? Or half of the game in Beautiful Katamari?

Does anyone know what the sales figures are so far with Tekken, I would like to know how the PS3 and 360 went compared. I know that the PS3 version is the better looking version, Guessing cos the PS3 was lead machine due to the arcade version been a modified PS3.
Be nice to see the PS3 outsell the 360 on a multiplat title. Especially since Tekken has Playstation roots.

VGChartz has the PS3 version outselling the 360 version 2 to 1. They're probably not too far off. Japanese style games tend to sell a lot better on the PS3, even in the West.
On the flip side, shooters always sell better on the 360.
The two consoles have different demographics, it seems.
