Spend your scratch on New DJ Hero DLC

($8) and $7.99 on Xbox Live Marketplace and PlayStation Store, respectively (the tracks are not offered for purchase separately). Each track is sold separately for Wii at 300 Wii Points ($3) apiece. Also out today for Wii are the two tracks from last month's Extended Mix Pack 01: "All Of Me" by 50 Cent featuring Mary J. Blige vs. "Radio Ga Ga" by Queen, and "DARE" by Gorillaz vs. "Can't Truss It" performed by Public Enemy. Those will set living room DJs back 300 Wii Points, as well.
The knowledge that your DJ Hero controller is a million times cooler than the Tony Hawk Ride board is, as always, priceless.

Wait, DLC on a music peripheral game? You're shitting me.

Where have you been? This is one of the ultimate cash cows for Activision and other companies, selling new tracks for their music games. They are drowning in money.

@RKN I think he was being sarcastic. :/

Sarcasm on the internet? Preposterous!

John, where have you been? If you pay more attention, you'll realize that sarcasm is a big part of the internet. Sarcasm is almost as prevalent as the number of videos featuring midgets being hit in the crotch and sites offering me a chance to play free on-line games where a busty broad calls me 'My Lord'.

Wow, I didn't realize that the DLC was also more expensive for DJ Hero. It makes sense because of the mixes that need to be done, but it makes the game that much more expensive to continue playing.
Fo @ Nov 24th 2009 6:34PM
They'l probly let you keep playing even if you don't buy any dlc
kurty @ Nov 24th 2009 9:55PM
Has anyone mentioned that you can't save to an SD card, I bought all five tracks and it was around 500 blocks on the internal wii storage space. Why have they not allowed saving to a card, everything worked great on the Guitar Hero shop.
This is very disapointing when I would expect 5 months or so worth of dlc support for a very expensive controller/game or perhaps this is the only dlc they will release and don't really care.
Luke @ Nov 25th 2009 11:40AM
Of course they could let you save DLC to an SD card now, but then there's less of a reason for you to pick up DJ Hero 2, which will support SD cards.
