All the great Rock Bands started at Old Navy
We can't tell you the number of times we've been packed into the mall during holiday season like angry, sweater-draped sardines and thought "This is great, but what if four people could swing plastic instruments around and warble an off-key version of 'Thunderstruck' just a few feet from us?" Finally, a retailer has stepped up to cater to our needs as Old Navy has announced it'll be putting Rock Band kiosks in 700 of its stores beginning on Black Friday.
Also, on Dec. 9 and Dec. 16, those who spend more than $25 at the store will get a free Rock Band track to take home, though we can't imagine why you'd want to play Rock Band at home when you could be playing in Old Navy.

Any word on the track or is it just a code for 1.99?

Yeah, because when I think Rock and Roll, I think Old Navy. *slaps forehead*

I can just imagine myself at the nearest mall...
"I'll catch up with you guys in a bit. I have to go to Old Navy to... um... buy some jeans... Yeah..."
And... wait.. .spend 25 dollars.. and get a single track? I guess it's better than nothing, but a single track? I don't really shop for clothes at Old Navy, but I guess I could try to explain this process to relatives :P (A rockband track bundled with clothes would make the clothes seem that much better on Christmas :D)
mywhitenoise @ Nov 25th 2009 6:13PM
Why not just stay home and play Rock Band there? Ya cheap bastard! :D
t3hguitarman @ Nov 25th 2009 6:19PM
@mywhitenoise
Sadly, I am a good 6200 miles away from my home and console games :( Darn things called colleges :/ but I'll be back home with MY PRECIOUSSSSS in a month or so :D haha
So I gotta get my game on where/whenever I can! :P (So far, I've been going to the local Best Buy like a cheap bastard, yes haha)

Wow, need to fact check this article:
It's $20 minimum, not $25.
Doors open at 3am and supplies of Lego Rock Band are *extremely* limited. You won't get one if you go any time other than when they open.
The kiosks go out on Thursday and there will be in-store events.

Can you play the Lego Rock Band game with guitar controller that comes in the guitar hero 3 bundle for the 360? This might be my first rock band game and i dont know if the controllers are interchangeable.

I'm sorry man, but every time someone opens their comment with an insult and then ends up being completely wrong, it brings a smile to my face.
