am I the only one who isn't crazy about live recordings used in Rock Band/Guitar Hero?

I fucking DESPISE live tracks on Rock Band. This will be the first live songs (and probably last ones ever) I'm going to buy and just because its Nirvana and it KINDA means the Nevermind album is now complete.

Apparently the Lithium masters were lost/damaged/unavailable and thats why GH5 also had a live track. I hadn't hear any problems with the Come As You Are masters though...

From what I've read its the same version used in GH5 and, surprisingly, it sounds very good for a live Nirvana performance (I've played it).

some live worked out great, eg. the ACDC stuff was fantastic.
I am happy we are finally getting the missing Nirvana tracks, but even more happy that the Grohl haters kept to themselves this time.

Oh come on guys. These songs are no better than the tracks from In Utero. I WANT IN UTERO!

Oh man, Smells Like Teen Spirit?! FINALLY!!! I've wanted to play this song for such a long time, I'm so happy it's finally available!

I'm getting a weird feeling. It's almost as if... I've already played it before... somewhere else...

It was awesome in the fact that it was AC/DC. What wasnt awesome were the long interludes and five minute big band finishes that plagued most of the tracks. Myself and my bandmates are going off trying to get the max bonus and the drummer (me) nearly passed out by the end of it. That track pack is a test of endurance.

Maybe, but I really only play the drums.

I would love to see some more Journey in Rock Band.

"Lovin, Touchin, Squeezin" , and "Girl Can't help it" as well as "I'll be alright without you" are bad assed songs that need to be in Rock Band.
