Looking at the screenshot that's linked, these shoes have absolutely nothing in common with the in-game shoes.

What makes it worse is that where I live (Southern Cali) we were always warned not to wear BLACK shoes with RED laces because it was a sign that you were a skinhead. Only way it could have been worse would be to make them black work boots... AND THEY DON"T EVEN LOOK LIKE THE IN-GAME SHOE!!!

i don't know why anyone would want to play the real world long enough to take a screenshot, it has great graphics, i'll give it that, and it runs on almost everything, but the controls and gameplay are absolutely terrible

story sucks, its suffers from the developers leaving the plot too open ended and the player usually ends up confused, on top of this the real time events are pretty unspectacular. The character development is deplorable, AI in the NPCs is downright lazy and unrealistic, there are times when you can run over someone in a firetruck and others will just stand around and watch. The story is drivel and barely progresses into an anti-climatic ending, no replay value what so ever and the lack of a continue button or restart makes the first run a bore.

Actually, Meatee is absolutely correct and you just made yourself look like a smart-ass...

"Looking at the screenshot that's linked" - in the story, click the hypertext labeled "in-game versions" and you'll be brought here: http://www.joystiq.com/photos/splatterhouse-10-13-09/2360793/full/

HENCE, "Looking at the screenshot that's linked, these shoes (the photograph) have absolutely nothing in common with the in-game shoes (screenshot that's linked).

LOL!

It looks like they took some Pro Wings from the early 90's and smeared some red paint on 'em.

You are pretty much the biggest loser ever if you actually spend $80 on those pieces of crap.

Also, as noted above they don't even look remotely like the in game shoes. Stupid.

I don't like them and yes, they do not reflect the game at all. Pretty sure Globe also do a Gears shoe in the same colour, all black with the red skull across the side. Funny, because those look pretty awful too.

How about you ship the game before you market the shoes? Just a suggestion.

Great, let's take an awful character design idea and make it real.

Why is the Splatterhouse guy even wearing super monster shoes? Shouldn't they have torn apart when Rick transforms, like Hulk? Or like say, the original Splatterhouses?

No, instead his magic shoes grow with him. What's the matter, can't draw feet?

All this is missing is the Reebok pump system. That would be a deal breaker for me.

Only up to size 11? What gives? Ridiculous.

Not that I would buy them.. but if I wanted to, I couldn't.

If those had come out for the original Splatterhouse, I would have been all over them. Also, I was 11.
