Oh, and Melty Blood: Actress Again on PS2. Just got my import copy from PlayAsia. Someone really needs to localize this game. It's great.

Hey, playing TWEWY for my first time as of a week or so ago. Having a blast with the game, and enjoying the soundtrack. At first I wasn't sure if I liked the game... but then I noticed I kept playing. and playing. and playing. Been listening to Jpop internet radio stations now thanks to this damn game.

Also playing Final Fantasy 7: Dirge of Cerberus for my first time. Still got over a dozen backlog games to kill before 2010 starts, but my xbox E74'd so now I'm back to playing games on my PS3 (even if it's a PS2 game)

I'll throw Shiina Ringo, BoA, Chemistry, m-flo (more j-rap, but they do a lot of songs with pop stars) and YMCK into the hat.

Can't really offer much else, as Jpop is just too damn broad nowadays.

Ive put aside every other lifely concern and locked myself in my room with days worth of snapple and pretzels to blaze through as many games as possible. Im going to try and finish AC2, Quantum of Solace on 007, Left 4 Dead 2 versus mode achievements, another Dragon Age origin playthrough, and Star Wars Republic Heroes for achievements and because i love the show. To top it off ill be playing MW2 with friends and some Gay Tony in between

O God how could you possibly love the show?!?!?

I mean, the one by Genndy Tartakovsky was awesome but this new one is absolutely terrible (especially the character design).

Did you only watch the movie or early first season? Watch the last few episodes of Season 1 and Season 2. It's a great show.

I cant agree with any of that. I really enjoy the character and world design, it's very clear that they are intended to resemble marionets and while some might call it a cop out, when viewed in HD it's very clear the detail they put into them. Bongoes had it right as well, the first season was VERY rocky, except for a few select episodes particularly Rookies, but it's really grown into it's own and greatly matured. There's barely any comic relief droids anymore and the characterization is very deep. It will certainly never hold a candle to the jizz fest that was Gendy Tartavosky's Clone Wars, but it's a really great show.

I guess I'll go watch some episodes then.

I sort of found the character design sort of "flattened" though. Maybe i just loved the other cartoon too much though.

I just got a Wii for my birthday, and I'll be playing NSMB Wii, and Punch-Out. If I decide to do some Black Friday shopping, I'll pick up Dead Space: Extraction, possibly MadWorld, and a few Gamecube games.

Then... I'll try some Uncharted 2 MP with the new map, and probably Killzone 2 MP as well for the double XP weekend.

Oh, that reminds me, I got to finish Zombie Island of Dr Ned...

Not looking forward to tomorrow, dealing with several people I can't stand but thankfully only see maybe twice a year. Tomorrow to me just means two months away from Mass Effect 2 :P

Assassin's Creed 2 and MW2 will have to hold me until then. Darkest of Days came in today from Gamefly but I can't muster the patience to achievement whore that game yet.

Not really an old game, but I suspect it is because a lot of people will be playing newer games in WRUP and because there was no one online. Another game that took me by surprise that has no one online is the Tenage Mutant Ninja Turtles HD port. I was kind of sad there was no one around to co-op with. *sigh* Oh well

New Super Mario Bros Wii. Beat the game back on Sunday (with what has to be the most epic final fight for a 2D Mario period), and my focus has been on unlocking stages i skipped, and then unlocking World 9 stages, which deviously means getting every single star coin in every stage

Not something i ever bothered to do in the original NSMB, but they've put the very compelling reward of world 9 ahead of me. Thus i am compelled.

Since I've been working two jobs for the past year and a half, this will be the first weekend I have three consecutive days off in a row - which is crazy to me. I'll be icing so many chumps in MW2 multiplayer and probably stepping into some more exquisite L4D2.

I might get back into Dragon Age some more - it has, thus far, left me feeling a little underwhelmed. I certainly don't hate it. All I can think is that it feels like Bioware's B-Team put it together; and that they've been working on it way too long. Perhaps a quiet weekend morning will be just the thing for the Age of Dragons.

I just got Boarderlands and I'm tearing through that and messing up everybody elses online games. I also found XIII for the Gamecube and I'm both loving and hating it. Follow that up with Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance (GCN), Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin, Persona PSP, Shadow Hearts Covenant, Oblivion, Demon's Souls, and I just might go see Ninja Assassin. The movie looks cool and I'm sort of a fan of the Wachowski Bros. I'm really pissed that not a single theater in my area is showing The Road. What the hell? I've been looking forward to that movie for almost a year and I come to find out that no theater within a hundred miles will be showing it. As Charlie Brown once said: "Aaarrrggg!!!"

XIII!!! Now THAT is a pretty okay game I totally forgot about. It tried to do a lot of neat things, and pulled off some of them. I had a good amount of fun with that piece.

I've always been a believer that XIII is one of the most underrated games ever. It's one of my all time favourites, the local multiplayer is some of the best I've ever played, and the campaign is awesome too.

I'll mostly be playing the incredible Assassins Creed 2. Other than that I'll probably crack open that copy of NSMBWii with the family and some multiplayer sessions of Killzone 2 & Uncharted 2. Other than those games I might also be playing Sigma 2 & the GOW collection. Between watching sports and not going to any dumb 3 AM sales I'll have more than enough to be thankful for this year.

MAG was horrible. The long guns look like miniature shotguns and it somewhat resembles the trench shotgun from Call of Duty: World at War. The pop in was also surprisingly bad and the graphics... ugh, where do I begin. I am disappointed, to say the least because MAG feels and looks like a last year shooter (or even farther). I think it's time for Zipper to continue what's rightfully theirs - the SOCOM series
