The latest trailer for Super Street Fighter IV reveals the newly-announced characters in motion for the first time, leading to some surprising discoveries. For example, Adon sounds like Starscream. That actually kind of makes sense if you imagine Sagat as Megatron and Adon as his annoying sidekick.
In addition to the three new new guys, all the other new Super Street Fighter IV characters are featured as well, so you can hear all the terrible new voice acting so far! And you can also see that, at least upon cursory inspection, everyone plays like they used to. Cody still throws knives, T. Hawk still throws people, and Dee Jay is still annoying.
Yun and Yang plus more new characters instead of Adon and Cody; Guy is cool! SF1 & SFA has a few characters, SF2 is full represened, SF3 is the only one lacking - come on Capcom! Also Gill is the only boss missing! What ever happened to "You must defeat Shen Long to stand a chance!" - make a character for him and don't make him another Ryu clone!
Yeah I think I'm most looking forward to him coming back.
I wish his voice was more like SSF2 though, he sounds more average now like everyone else in the series. Nothing like a bunch of nasally MAX OUT and noooooo-noooo-noooo
Gyaddamn. I'm ashamed to say I've never really been into Street Fighter, having not really had the chance to play them. However, this is looking like the one to get me started. I'm totally digging the old-school naming convention, too.
I know it is one of the fugliest costumes in the street fighter universe .... but i love how people complain about cody's outfit for STORY porpueses .... in the same way of "sakura is in college AGAIN ?" and "so .. cody went back to prision and escaped again or what ?" and stuff like that xD
And they don't see that if you think about ... NONE of the fighters make sense to use the same clothes as in last games =P

I've never been into fighting games, though I played Mortal Combat at friends houses when I was a kid. So I've never really looked at the street fighter series. I really dig the visual style though, it looks fantastic.
actually in a famitsue magazine shot, you can see guy blocking a energy kunai, IBUKI! so she might be in the game, i mean who else has kunai you guys should head to the super street fighter 4 forums at capcom us.
I wish it was one of Rolento's weapons, seriously, but I doubt they're going to put in any more Final Fight characters as it stands (unless they put in Hugo).
And Rolento Schugerg is my favorite Street Fighter character of all-time, bar-none.
Honestly, I'm still disappointed that this is a full fledged game instead of a DLC for SFIV. I'm hardpressed to throw in another $60 for another Street Fighter game.
The addition of Dee Jay and Adon are more than worth it for me. (Rolento would have been nice, but I ain't greedy lol). The wonderful thing about your money is that if you don't see the value in something....you just don't buy it. :) see...everyone is happy!
Also, if you notice from the voices, a lot of the VAs consist of people who are from other anime series and video games. For example (I think these are correct):
Adon -- Played by David Wills, who also voiced Buggy the Clown in One Piece (4Kids Dub).
T. Hawk -- Played by Skip Stellrecht, who voices Sun Quan in Dynasty Warriors 4-6 and the Warriors Orochi series.
Well, I'm thinking it's him due to Buggy's voice that was in the Grand Battle games, mainly Grand Battle 1 and Grand Adventure, and the series. I don't think it sounds like Mike McFarland to me.
to date pre order in the uk is only £21, since i got shot of my 360 i odnt own sf4 anymore so i dont mind paying £21 for a new version with added charachters.
now is this the full lineup or do we think they will add anymore in. ?
looks good so far. but man T hawk is a pain in the ******. espcially when you arn't that skilled at fighting games lol
