might be doing it to pad their transactions, if they sell X songs in a pack that's still only one transaction but if they sell them individually their numbers get a boost. Plus they make a little extra for people unsuspectingly buying the slightly more expensive track packs.

So for them its a win win, at least until people start to look at it and get around to feeling burned.

On the other hand it could be an honest mistake .... *uncontrollable laughter*

To a lesser extent, this happens in America too. If a song pack consists of three songs that are $0.99 each, the pack is $2.99, so it's $0.02 cheaper to purchase those individually.

It's the principle of it. The fact that someone would get a bundle when they don't want all songs, just because they think they're getting a discount on that third song (which, even in the case of a regular 3-song pack in America, is only 48 cents).

And I'm not saying it's an outrage, I'm not taking it to the streets, and I did clarify that it's not up to the extent that it is in the UK allegedly, I'm only being observant.

How much does anybody wanna bet that the price for the individual tracks is what's going to be raised, instead of the price for the packs going down?

yeah what a rip... HMX gives us complete choice in the new music. We can buy or leave out anything as opposed to Activision which makes their fans buy a new full game every couple weeks to obtain new music.
