Well, that's counting all the DLC. I think Rock Band could easily have the "Game with most DLC" award.

They're playing that maps song from the first game. Don't know why, but I really enjoy that song.

I love the drum part on that song, it's very tiring for me though.

I'd probably end up donating more, if not for the fact that even averaging out at 160MSP per song, that they spent around or well over $2,000 on RB songs rather then donating that much money to the charity, but I'll still donate a little for a helpful cause. You might want to consider the latter next time, though (just my opinion).

Actually, we only spent about $20 on DLC, and that was before we even had the idea for the marathon. We don't have every song on the list and we're going to eventually repeat some.

Alright, that's good to know. If you had spent $2,000 on DLC as opposed to giving it to charity, that would have been quite upsetting. Thanks for letting me know, expect my donation a little later. :)

No way is that possible. I did Endless Setlist on Expert Guitar, without pausing or failing for the trophy, and at the end of the 8 hour session my arms were nearly falling off

It didn't take me eight hours. And my fingers were just cramped by the end of it all.

Even if all the songs were 5 minutes long, it would take around 7 hours (the math I did was 81 songs, 5 minutes each, divided by 60 minutes in an hour, which came out to be 6.75 hours).

Its more like 5-6 hours in reality.

...

Why did I just do that? I'm a douchebag...

But I agree. This is going to be a massive pain in the ass.

I dunno if my comment went through...

It didn't take me that long, and I was only cramping at the end at Visions, Painkiller, and Panic Attack (and still raped them).

Even if each song was 5 minutes long, it would only take roughly 7 hours to beat.

Most songs are about 3.

So...

I still agree. It's going to suck playing these. Guitarists are going to jack up their hands, while the drummer is going to faint of exhaustion. Hopefully his heart doesn't blow up. Also, the vocalist (assuming all parts are in this run) is going to need repaired vocal chords. I may donate for hospital bills.

And yet, my comment did.

Triple post fail and general comment system usage fail.

I will praise these people as gods if it works out [as long as their system holds] cause there is NO WAY a normal human being could take that much finger strain!

Theyd have to do it on a PS3. Fanboyisam aside, i honestly do not think that the 360 would last 80 hours

I chipped in $30. Anything for Child's Play I suppose.

I hope they just had the songs and didn't go out of the way to buy them.

Is this ever reported in the media or do they just cover the stories of people playing GTA and are now a threat to everything we hold dear?

I don't have the money to donate right now, but I plan on following their link to Amazon to buy some movies. It's for a great cause and going to a better use than me spending it on stupid shit.

The only way to end this would be for the guitarist to yell out "I'VE GOT BLISTERS ON MY FINGERS!"

I still think that image looks like some sort of Harry Potter fanfic gone horribly wrong.
