To quote the immortal words of the musical revolutionaries known as Widelife, "all things just keep getting better!" For the purpose of this post, "all things" include Steam's post-Thanksgiving deals, which seem to have hit critical value mass today. Resident Evil 5 for $24.99? Borderlands for $33.49? Ghostbusters for $9.99? Left 4 Dead: Game of the Year Edition for $7.49? Daddy like.
Once again, if you don't like the games which have had their prices temporarily torn in twain, tune in tomorrow at 8:00 a.m. PST for the next batch of deals.

In for Left4Dead. Even my "I haven't played 3/4 of the games I already have"-jadedness won't let me pass up on that deal.

You're not the only one in that boat. Though it's not as high as 3/4, it's higher than I'd like.
Right now, I need to finish Resistance, DMC4, Valkyria Chronicles, The Orange Box, C&C3, Dead Space, Kameo, PDZ, Ape Escape 3, FFX...this list is just making me feel bad for ordering L4D2 yesterday. I'm stopping now... ;(

Um, Darth, I'm not trying to sound like an ass, but maybe if you get off Joystiq once in a while you can probably finish most of your games.

Although I was strapped for cash on the first 2 days of the sale, I was hoping for Borderlands for this price! Assuming some of my game collection sells on ebay tonight, I'm using my paypal to buy some steam goodies including this & L4D.
That is a good price on RE5, but I'm gonna wait until I get a PS3 & the new enhanced version of it when it comes out next year.

The best part of this deal is the L4D 4-pack, which was also discounted. Four copies of the game for $5 and pocket change each? Yes please!

Picked up L4D2 on PC yesterday at Gamestop for $30. That was cheaper than Steam was selling it for. Now I picked up L4D. To good of a deal to pass up.
On a side note
Kinda new to the whole PC gaming thing. I am no longer buying PC games unless they launch thru Steam. To much of a pain in the ass to get updates.
LOVE YOU STEAM!!!

Steam takes away all the cumbersome annoying things about PC gaming of the past. No more searching through sites to find updates, no more long annoying install programs that take up the whole screen, no more swapping discs every time you want to play a different game.

man, steam has ridiculously awesome deals. i buy them, even though my lappy can't play them well (integrated graphics FTL). still, my favorite deal was the orange box for $10. team fortress 2 was worth that money alone. with HL2 and portal added in, OH GOD YES.

I am seriously thinking about getting Order of War. Is it good? Also planning to get L4D even if I just got L4D2 and dunno why but Trine doesn't really call my attention...

How is RE5 on the PC? Easier using the mouse? Anyone?
Sucks about Borderlands- I mean, unless you haven't bought it... I wish I waited! Doesn't matter anyway, Dragon Age is taking up all of my time. Game is amazing!

RE5 is best on PC unless you consider the DLC to be a must. I know, RE4 on PC was awful but this one is good, so i got it because at 25 bucks, thats a great price!
Borderlands ehh gotta slash it down some more, honestly I heard the PC version was a little rushed. Still would like to try it when it goes down more.

Capcom's giving some great PC support these days. And I can see Square Enix doing so in the near future as well.

Yeah, I am waiting for them to patch up the PC version of Borderlands... it's so console-ish. The online aspect is horrible implemented. I won't visit it until the online is fixed.
