This service is awesome but unfortunately I'm still on my launch 1GB memory stick duo with 300mb left and with the comics at roughly 40Mb each I can't really buy too many.

In the long run being left out is probably the best thing that can happen to Canada, Go to your local comic shop and buy the actual comics, enjoy them and collect them and in time heck they might even be worth considerably more than you payed for them.

Vs this digital download comic that is convenient probably costs as much as buying the actual comic and will probably have considerable lag time from print release to digital release for some time to come.

I'd still like the freebies for cryin' out loud.

Sony was dickish enough to send me a voucher for a free ep of Vampire Diaries, then refuse to let me use it!

The PSP comics may be coming to Canada next year. This is from the official PSN Comics Twitter account (Psncomics):

I'm afraid that we wont have any codes for Canada until we launch their next year :-(

it's a mix of tech and legal issues. The team obviously want to launch there. We want your money ;-)

The Psncomics Twitter account noted on November 22nd that Canada would be getting the comics service next year. Tech and legal issues were cited as the reason for the delay.

I don't get how SCEA runs the PlayStation brand in Canada and Canadians are left out of many approved features for the PlayStation systems.

Really?

That's less convenient than actually buying a paperback comic.

ps3 has a couple motion comics. But yes for the most part i agree, ive tried some of the homebrewed comic readers and its so frustrating to read them its not worth it, but on my 37" it would be a different story :)
