Report: Splinter Cell: Conviction to have co-op, new multiplayer mode

According to a recent post on CVG, the publishing partner of PC Zone magazine, the next issue of the latter will drop some knowledge on us regarding Splinter Cell: Conviction's multiplayer modes. CVG reports that the last issue of PC Zone teases an article on Conviction, claiming the piece will feature "hands-on, co-op reveal and a brand new mode."

If the game truly does have co-operative play, then we're kinda bummed about the aesthetic changes the title has undergone over the past year. Can you imagine: Secret two-man hobo operations to blow up a whole park's worth of hot dog stands? Party game of the year.

Why would Splinter Cell need MP, I never bothered with it before. Only Halo 3, Gears 2 Horde got a look in for more than 2 nights.. Co-op maybe, if, if I can get a co-op buddy

The description of the MP plus that pic just pretty much say "borrowed from Uncharted 2".

Sam was doing that kind of stuff (in the pic) back in Chaos Theory

That image looks like something straight out of Assassin's Creed 2, just with a modern skin...hmmm.

You people need to make up your mind. Just before this comment it apparently was ripped from Uncharted 2.

I think co-op multiplayer is much better than competitive in third person games. U2 co-op is way better than the competitive games, same with Gears 2. Badass: The Game looks amazing so I'm sure whatever they do will be awesome. Can't be worse than RE5 co-op.
