Samara is an elite Asari warrior who controls some incredibly potent biotic powers. Forget simply tossing enemies around -- she manipulates dark energy in order to levitate herself, as evidenced in the above video. The footage also confirms that there are still five potential party members yet to be introduced before the game ships for PC and Xbox 360 on January 26 (not March 23 as originally noted by Randy, who's clearly met his recommended daily allowance of paste.)

I'm liking these characters, even if it's becoming a bit redundant now (don't really need 2 asari biotics...). It's just a shame the 2010 goty is coming in the first month of the year, that means it's all downhill from there.

So true. If there was only one game I could play next year, it would be Mass Effect 2. Hopefully the DLC isn't crap, overpriced, or untimely.

She might have some weird anatomy going on downstairs. Maybe thorns and stuff like a miniature Sarlacc or something and it devours your soul along with your wing dang doodle. Don't risk it, dude.

I want Samara and Liara to fight over who gets to have sex with my female Shepard.
If things go my way, it will be a threesome and I will eat some pumpkin pie afterwards.

I'd be willing to guess that neither Wrex nor Liara will be in your party and have been replaced by Grunt and Samara. I'd also guess that Ashley and Kaiden are going to be swapped out for the two humans that were in the iPhone game.
So that would leave Garrus + 2 slots for new characters.

ive heard several things about old party members. One said they can all come back if you make the right choices, but then another said who ever you loved in the first game wont join you, because that relationship is supposed to last throughout the trilogy

What, a hot alien girl with impossibly round breasts who wants to do whatever you ask of her? Way to break new ground, BioWare.

Well, yeah, that is kinda new ground. What game has actually had slave girl party members before?

or rather, slave girls that retain their willingness to serve even after being liberated?

Yeah, there's some definite pandering going on here. Why not just make a Stepford Wife NPC and be done with it?

Actually Fallout 3 had a slave girl companion called Clover,
she said stuff along the lines of
"Would you like me to do something for you, or too you...?"

Why does every video have to have that stupid age verification shit? Im sick of having to enter a fake birthday for 90% of videos on joystiq. Nothing in that video and almost every other video is even PG-13.
