I dig my 2d platformer shooters, well Shadow Complex and Rearmed were awesome. This probably won't be hot because, well, look at the retail game it's based on but I might give it a go. Maybe, just maybe it will turn out ok.

I keep seeing snarky comments like "that we're probably supposed to find hilarious," thinking that's not proper to say, but then I realize this is a news BLOG.

You guys keep on opining. I never played the big Matt Hazard game but the idea of a mass video game parody has intrigued me since I heard about it. That and the Asterix and Obelix game that came out a while ago.

scary movie 1&2 were stupid...but funny. 3&4 were stupid....and stupid.

yeah the first matt hazard game was horrible...but i only paid 8 bucks so i wasnt too pissed.

seeing as i love 2d side scrollers(old skool gamers FTW) ill give ol mat another shot....as long as its not over 10 bucks that is,,,,,

I think this idea has a much better chance at succeeding as a $10 sidescroller. While it doesn't mean a lot, it does look good. I'm hoping it turns out good. The trailer looked like it had some pretty good spoofs.
