Having no knowlege of this gaming series, I click on the "glory-of-herakles" (sp???) tag:

http://nintendo.joystiq.com/2008/06/06/another-week-in-japan-hardware-and-software-numbers-5-26-6-1/

Oh, wow, I remember that day. That was a great day.

Actually he looks like a generic anime character.

Just because Light had generic hair doesn't mean anybody who has his hair looks like him.

Haven't heard of it.

"It's an RPG"
Rad.

"set in a (more) fictionalized version of the Greek mythological tradition"
Great, I love Greek mythology!

"with a plot written by Final Fantasy's Kazushige Nojima."
... Welp.

Why is there a prostitute 2nd from the left? Isn't that skirt abnormally short even compared to most JRPGs?

Looks fairly averagely short in the JRPG context, but the side-slit seems like overkill.

As for this game, the what of what? Never heard of it. Hope they release more details/promos before they release, um, the game...

Greek setting sounds interesting. The little fairies flying around are cute... were they in Greek myth? Well, whatever.

What's up with the different art styles all in the same image?

What the *hell* is this game, anyway?

I really want to know if it's good, so I'm looking forward to the reviews.

Toss-up: Better Firefly quote for the picture?

"I'll be in my bunk" or "I'm going to the special hell".

Don't particularly care about this game. I'd rather have news on Monado. Like, for instance, an actual commitment by Nintendo to LOCALIZE IT. If they want to interest the RPG crowd, that's how they're gonna do it. After the embarrassing fiascos of ASH and Disaster - and the complete non-existence of Soma Bringer - I think it's about time. Seriously, Nintendo is the only company out of the Big Three that doesn't release half of its titles globally. They have some of the best localization teams in the industry - what could they really lose by releasing a few more niche titles over here?

I somehow managed to read the title as "Glory of Tentacles." God, I need some coffee.

I'm more than impressed that they actually used the correct Greek name of Heracles more than anything else.

It's a good thing Joystiq mentioned this game, because before now I honestly hadn't heard of it (yet another demonstration of Nintendo's lackluster support of third party games). After looking around and finding some videos, however, I have to say that this game looks pretty sweet. The graphics look great, the combat looks entertaining, and the setting is also very promising.

Keep us up to date on this, Joystiq, I'm really looking forward to it.
